Missfire in automatic r34 ??

hi all,

i am having a problem with misfiring over 4000rpm. i have an automatic r34 with an exhaust and airfilter and its not boosted over the factory setting. At first i thought it was the gap in the spark plugs so i gapped them from 1.1 to .75. when i gapped the plugs i checked all the coils they seemed to be fine. after gapping the plugs it only half fixed the problem. as now the misfire only occurs when i stomp on the throttle in drive (sometimes). if i use the tiptronic and floor it or if i gradually take it up in the revs it doesn't miss at all.

from what everyone is saying on the other threads i may have a hairline crack in the coils somewhere, but as it doesn't miss when being eased up or while using tiptronic i thought it may be something else???

does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be or is anyone having a similar problem

any help would be muchly appreciated
