NZM.031
hey guys after much thinking, and looking, and thinking, and driving, and thinking. ive decided to part with the 33 and buy a much cheaper, more driftable car, and also a suitable tow car. i bought the car in november last year, it had 115000 kms on it, it now has 125000kms on it. only gets driven on weekends, if i have somewhere to go. otherwise it sits in the shed. 1995 ser 1.5 R33 gtst, 125000kms, 5spd, september rego (will get it rego'd if not gone by then) has been serviced 4 times since i bought it, with Repsol Elite competition oil and genuine filters. Exterior: burgandy 400r front bar Top secret skirts and rear pods GTR wing 18x9 and 18x8 Work meisters Suspension, Brakes: KYB buzzspec coilovers Pineapples Cusco strut brace RB74 pads all round Nismo Braided lines Engine: Hi flowed turbo FMIC full 3" exhaust w/ nice cannon Apexi Pod w/ Garage Debris airbox Boost controller HKS SSQV BOV, plumbed back in Carbodix Carbon button clutch plate, modified GTR pressure plate (3500kg clamping pressure), lightened flywheel (2 weeks old) Bosch 044 fuel pump w/ surge tank mounted in boot. Interior: Nardi steering wheel (not sure if keeping this, but there will be a sports wheel on there) Apexi Safc Apexi Turbo timer Apexi Boost gauge Nismo gearknob thats about all i can think of at the moment, wanted to build it up for drift, but was going to cost to much, and its too much of a nice cruiser the way it is, i couldnt bring myself to rip out all the interior and back seat, and pull the kit off, so im selling it to buy an HR31 gtsx so im looking for a hr31 gtsx, any condition, any mods. but must be street registered and manual. if anyone has one, id be willing to swap + cash. heres some pics cheers Linton Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81199-1995-r33-gtst-19000-or-swap-for-hr31-gtsx-plus-cash-newcastle-nsw/ Share on other sites

NZM.031
dont know how many kw...never wanted to know. it goes well enough to keep me happy and enjoy driving it...thats all i worried about...too many people go by dyno figures... they mean nothing anyway. on 16psi it keeps up with a mates 220rwkw 180sx.... until he puts his on hi boost and makes 244rwkw... cheers Linton Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81199-1995-r33-gtst-19000-or-swap-for-hr31-gtsx-plus-cash-newcastle-nsw/#findComment-1475824 Share on other sites

d-d
Linton mate - a sad day that another fellow hunter regioner sells his R33, but im glad you chose not to rip the seats out of this nice car. For people that are humming and arrrring about whether this is teh car for them, i can say that this car has a LOT of power and will bring a smile to even the harshest critics face. I hope it just goes to a home where the owner loves it as much as Linton does. Good luck with the sale mate Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81199-1995-r33-gtst-19000-or-swap-for-hr31-gtsx-plus-cash-newcastle-nsw/#findComment-1481818 Share on other sites

Guest two.06l
Sorry to get off topic Linton, are you from Singleton....and that looks like an atom bomb going off in your second pic. HR31 gts-x.....just make sure you can get parts for it (we waited 6 months to find a rear 1/4 window after some scum smashed it)....free bump! NZM.031
i live in muswellbrook, bout half an hour north of singo... thats bayswater power station in the background... the 31 will be a drift pig, nothing more, nothing less... just a thrasher that is barely able to be driven on the street, let alone legal... yes the front bar has copped some slight damage... as they all do... can have it repaired if you want. thing like that never really worried me... i have replaced the tape with stitches though the rest of the body is straight and clean... sorry, but im not interested in a 32... however d-d might be interested in it.. thanks dave, much appreciated cheers Linton Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81199-1995-r33-gtst-19000-or-swap-for-hr31-gtsx-plus-cash-newcastle-nsw/#findComment-1483619 Share on other sites
NZM.031
i should also mention that the turbo is currently off it, im replacing my hiflow with a reconditioned standard unit... while its been sitting there ive done a compression and leak down test... all good, around 150psi in all cylinders... dry. cheers Linton Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/81199-1995-r33-gtst-19000-or-swap-for-hr31-gtsx-plus-cash-newcastle-nsw/#findComment-1483627 Share on other sites
NZM.031
ok... after not being able to find a standard turbo, the hiflow turbo is getting reconditioned and put back on... ill get the turbo on and re-tune it. the front bar will also be fixed. as far as damage goes... the rest of the car is immaculate.. and the interior is also immaculate, except for some wear on the drivers seat...was there when i bought it and i was always planning to put some brides in it anyway, so never worried about it. cheers Linton.
