whickh one is suitable for an r32 with an rb20det in it?

Hi Roland, the most popular size for an R32 GTS-T is the 600 x 300 x 76mm

Regards,

Steve

hey another question. your piping kits for the r33 gts-t, i have the stock plenum chamber so i just wanted to make sure it was designed the standard position not next to the engine with aftermarket plenum chambers. Also i want to keep a plum back bov on for legal reasons so is the piping suitable for a plum back with an entry point or only atmospheric.

Thanks for your help

The factory cast pipe with the factory bov stays in place with our piping kits. These kits are also designed for use with the factory plenum.

Cheers,

Steve

ow sorry and to add to that atm ive still got the stock exhaust manifold and low mount stock turbo. Will the piping be suitable and when it comes to upgrade will i need to buy new piping to fit a bigger turbo or top mount

You may need to change piping if you fit a large high mount turbo, but if you simply fit a larger turbo in the factory position there shouldnt be any problem

Steve

you just seem to have all the right answers lol. i like that

Another question. I am interested in the medium size cooler for my R33, however i would like you to confirm that the piping kit would be suited to the smaller cooler. Is there a compatible piping kit for the smaller cooler?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter, the 600mm intercooler is the best size for an R33 GTS-T as as such the piping kits are designed for use with the 600 x 300 x 76mm intercoolers.

Steve

I want to fit one of these intercoolers to the front of my 4.2 diesel Nissan Patrol. I think that the bigger IC would suit best but need to make sure that it will fit.

I assume that the dimensions listed are for the core only. Could you please post the overall measurements including the end tanks for the medium and large JustJap coolers?

Thanks in advance!

    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
    • Lock me in mate, although I'm not sure if I'll be heading up from Goulburn or down from Sydney, either way, return will be back to Goulburn
    • Sounds good, we will aim to be there! @The Bogan I'll give you a shout if you are heading up to campbelltown for the meet too.
