Interesting how they never mention Apple and that I cant find this I-pod on ANY of the asian Apple sites.

But still, the idea of a swappable 4 gig drive is quite handy, along with all the other features bundled with it. I just wonder if the quality is up to Apple standards.

Thats right, its not Apple as such but made in same manufacturers as the apples, Apple pay the rights to have such a big brand name and for shops to back their products. Basically in Australia Apple have bought their market not really earnt their market. If you are talking of quality also, have you ever had experience with the shuffles? Go read a few reviews regarding them.. nothing but battery problems etc etc.. These Ipocket Units are definetly a superior product both in features and the quality well, i guess you could only judge it for yourself, but i know i have seen it first hand and if i was a parent or anyone else for that matter about to fork out the asking price for an Apple ipod in stores, and then i saw this, I know which one I would be choosing! Simple as that...

I have a shuffle. no probs with the batt at all. you just said this one is made by the same manufacturers as the apples! lol. I also have an i-book that i cant fault. one thing about apples, their fit and finish is top notch. but hey, what would i know.

If these are made by the same manufacturer as apple, then i imagine the quality is just as good. even tho you yourself just bagged them out. lol. however I cant imagine any warranty being honoured if there was a fault.

why are you selling things on your 3rd post btw? are you a skyline enthusiast or are you just trawling. I apolgise for being skeptical, but it seems a bit rich 3rd post in selling something, and suggestive advertising really pisses me off.

WOW alot of negative crap from you guys.... whats the point? Got nothing better to do? If you are not interested no one is forcing you, and yeah i thought they were made by same manufacturers, which would just mean the same factory in some 3rd world country for cheap labour somewhere just like apple do! THE manufacturer is a company called TRUETON TECHNOLOGY CO LTD

they are big in asia, and i just have contacts with a wholesaler thats all. IM not trying to rip anyone off at all, just offering you guys a cool product at a great competitive price. I know i would choose this over an ipod from the store anyday, it honestly is a great little unit, basically same as ipod but it has the extra features etc...

oh yeah for those playing at home! I joined this site because i just purchased a R33 GTS-T last week, having been currently a VL turbo owner, i wanted something newer but something still with all the power and potential. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED SKYLINES! so that is why i am here, thought i would make a good first impact on the site and offer the product, obviously not much friendship on offer round here though, plenty of criticism though!

If you are interested then contact me via PM or however you wish! Cheers! Not forcing anyone! just here on offer if you want one!

Dont worry mate, plenty of friendship around here  I just get shit off with suggestive advertising ie they say "the next ipod" but in reality this is a rip off that will probably never be sold by Apple.

And it's not an uncommon ocurrance that people will jump on a forum with a seemingly brilliant deal, only to fleece the first 100 suckers that send them money, never to be seen or heard of again.

I know, that's not what you are etc etc, but the fact is that it happens, and it's kind of an unspoken rule that it's not usually good etequitte to jump on a forum only two minutes later to try and sell something. Forums I have been on usually have a 50 post count limit before you can trade. it's not a fool proof deterrent but it does help if they dont really have a clue what they're talking about in regard to the forums' topic.

So all that said, welcome mate :) hope you enjoy it here!

Cheers Thanks mate,

pic of my new car

got any ideas for type of wing i should put on my car? Or should i leave it like it is?

very nice mate! like the colour :) and the side skirts ;) can you take a shot at the same angle but from the back? Wanna check out how those rear skirts look  hmmm hard call with the wing, I reckon i'd either go for the oem s2 wing style, or one of those low wings - you know the ones, they basically fill in the dip between the boot and the rear quarters... that's if I got one at all, which i just know you'll wanna at least try ;) they just look a bit unfinished when the dip to the boot is left there. It's got really nice lines atm, the last thing youd want to do is spoil it with a big gtr wing or something similar!

    • Nah, they'll do it without a receipt, tell em roughly when it was, that it was cash, youll likely only get store credit, but that gets you some dollars towards the newer better shovel, or other item you need/want later.   Still take it back and have a crack at returning it.
    • Nah. Was just wondering if you were having a small stroke or if there was some slur/gaf/inside joke that I wasn't aware of.
    • That was a fark up, it's Salamanca Place I was thinking of. And now I'm curious as to what potential slur/gaf I have caused with Salamander Road, ha ha!
    • Actually everyone on the roads was really well behaved. The only person that did any minor tailgating was a local hoon in a Turbo Focus. Unfortunately we weren't going the same way so there was no grand initial D touge battle. Lots of people pulled over and let me through. The amount of "Hey man nice car, omg skyline, nice 34 man woo" was suprising. Like really suprising. Like almost annoying. My partner was obviously surprised, she'd never seen anyone in the real world point out the car/like the car/want to chat about the car before, so to have like 3 people per day mention it was notable, I could finally say SEE? SOMEONE THINKS THEY'RE COOL. Everyone was also pretty suprised about the weather. Every day was dry and about ~13-14C. Mount Wellington had a sign that said they close the gates at 9pm and I was heading up there at about ~7:30. It was VERY apparent that conditions were getting significantly worse by the minute on the way up and down. The road on the mountain was terrible though, it's no driving road. I have various suspension related questions now. Luckily it was only about 20 minutes from where we were staying to the top of the mountain as said Google maps. We only had the 2 nights in Hobart. We went to the Farm Gate Market though which was really good - And went down to the Hastings Thermal springs/caves down there during the day. I'd definitely be up for going back again, so luckily there's a few more sights yet to see. Didn't get to do the west coast/queenstown/cradle mountain so this was supposed to be a 'scouting' trip anyway of sorts if I were to one day do/take part in/organize a more car-focused trip. As for the boat, it wasn't bad. Well it was bad, but not in the way you're thinking. We did the night trip which leaves at 6:45 (though you have to be there ~2 hours earlier) and arrives the next morning at about 6am. There is nothing to do on the ship. If you plan accordingly and bring a book/tablet/show to watch/charger you can just chill out, take some Travacalm and just sleep through it. The food there is an extremely basic buffet that costs $32 a plate, or $14 for a $3 pizza. The way back we had a travel kettle and a few different types of cup noodles and made our own tea/coffee in the room. This was a far superior way to do it. At the very least book one of the rooms with beds. I guess as we were in the off season we didn't have room mates. You get an option for rooms with 4 beds (2x bunks) or a room with just the two bottom beds. There's also some option for a deluxe queen bed but it's much pricer. We've been on sleeper trains in Asia before so we figured this is similar (and it was)
