Once i get prices for the front/side/back, we could all probably chip in for the kit from japan and then just get it replicated. Also, are the prices from Alex (G13) from yahoo japan? Or is it a plastic kit like std?

I'm with your idea about us all putting in for the bodykit. We would have to get a few people interested i'd guess....But none the less, nothing can stop Stagea owners B)

omfg, if i was keeping my stag, the series 2 260RS kit would be a definate!! I've always wanted one. . :)

Make sure you mention it to the new owner when someone buys it :)

I test fitted a R33 GTST sideskirt, and it fit no problems. Infact, was a TINY bit too long. Just make sure the rear door can open.

so your saying a 2 door r33 gts-t sideskirt will be the same length as the stagea? i always thought the wheel base was longer?

cheers

Brad

Freddy ripped out a GTST sideskirt, and it was good length and fit fine. I think the wheel base is the same, just rear wheel back is longer?

I dont know, but it fit. Only there was a bit that covered the rear doors, coz the 2 door can style that area.

As for body kits, we can all chip in and buy a DAYZ edition kit, and then get that copied here...

alex i'll do them just let me know when man... as for prices, i have worked out the best one. remember, Topstage is not my job, it's an obsession man.

it piss me off to see some products that came off cheap mould that won't fit.

alex, give me a call as soon as u got them organised.

i use m-flex for all the bars and skirts plus reinforcements by request.

I guess we would need to get one...So the only way we can do it is if we import a 260rs kit from Japan? Alex, did you have a look at the Nismo kit in the Sideskirts thread?

  • 1 month later...

im in for a 260rs kit. sign me up wheres the queue? i think 1k is a good price for a kit, without the wing. i'd go a dayz style wing - bit less crazy. i spent a year in japan and they have some crazy sh*t hanging off the back of their rigs. gnarly pieces of glass, hey.

You love diggin dont you??

Yeah the problem with this was that we couldnt get enough people to make it worth it, and then we had the hassel of getting the bodykit in the first place... Although I will be buying one if the price is right in the next 6 monthes or so... I'll be all to happy to get it copied if need be

heard back just now. check out the thread i have going about stagea kits. umm they want 1800 for the front bar, skirts, rear bar and wing that is on the yellow stagea. or similar. its a nismo kit.

My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
