hey all!

Item: D2 track spec coilovers for R32 GTR or gts4. Height and damper adjustable in both rebound and compression.

Location: Melbourne.

Item Condition: Purchased only a month ago and have only been on the car for less than 3 weeks. Have receipt, box, tools and remainder of 12 month warranty.

Reason for Selling: im a bit of a softy and am going back to the standard suspension or something simular. i dont intend on driving my baby on the circuit and rarely get the chance to even drive spiritly these days :D

Price and Payment Conditions: $1450 deposited into my account. i paid $400 more than that a month ago :)

Extra Info: This is your chance to own as new fully adjustable coilovers and save heaps off new price! The spring rates are not usually 13 and 9 kg/mm that D2 suggest for R32s but are 9 and 7 kg/mm (D2 springs are interchangeable). As a result they are much more road friendly whilst also being very suitable for track days. The cars would also handle in a more neutral manner when driven hard because the spring rate difference between front and rear isnt so great.

cheers

Have you got any pics of them on your car ? When they are on their highest level how much room is between the tyre and guard. Would you go lower in price at all ?

I'll get pics this weekend (sat morning). they are currently set about 10 to 15mm from there lowest in the pics (about 320mm from gaurd to wheels center) and can go very high, say 370+mm which is much higher than std.

pm me for a price discussion

this is a a dodgy pic to show the ride height. the tyres are just about level with the guards (320mm from guard to wheel center). at this ride height there is about 90mm from the front lip to the ground.

cheers

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
