Item: HKS Superflow Airfilter

Location: Central Coast, NSW

Item Condition: Excellent, as new still oiled up nicely

Reason for Selling: Was on the car when purchased and too loud induction noise for me, and wanted standand air box. Been on car for just over 1 month

Price and Payment Conditions: $110 ono

Extra Info: Comes with bracket, filter, cage, and adaptor for R32 gtst. Unsure if it will fit other models but dont see why not.

The filter was tested on my mates 2.0L pulsar on the dyno to test flow and kw gain compared to K&N panel. Gave an extra 7kw atw (alot for a pulsar) when compared to his cai k&n panel filter, flows 7% more than the K&N, overall excellent for power gain and gives a very loud induction noise.

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
