Have you checked that racepace will do pre-inspection test? When i was looking for pre-inspection for my car, they told me they were trying to move away from that service, but they still did pre-inspection for me

hrm VSI8 states spacers are illegal but no mention of which kind of spacers They didnt say "all spacers illegal" but they probably meant it

Got back from a reputable tyre shop and said that wheel spacers are legal if they are bolt on. I was wondering where i could get a confirmation of this law from vicroads? is there a phone number i can call and ask about modifications like these? I got defected for wrong tyre load rating on my tyres. I have two options; - Replace the tyres on my rims (which require bolt on spacers) - Or put on a set of rims with tyres which do not require spacers. Thanks Patrick

If i get desperate i will, cause i cant find anyone else. Went to import wreckers, mechanics etc asking for bloody wheels but no one seems to have a set. Where are all the r32 rims?! this is crazy talk Might talk to my tyre shop and see if they have some steelies which will fit on my car lol Cheers

Hey, I got defected for having wrong tyre load rating on my tyres. Cops compared the rating with a copy my compliancer stuck in my car. Although comparing with the japanese tyre card, it seems to be different? Could someone please post up the stock r32 gtst tyre load rating + other tyre/wheel dimensions stated on the tyre card? He told me vicroads doesnt know and that you should contact police. He took the unlaiden value of 1250kg, which was displayed on his computer screen along with my estimate of 158kw stock. Which made it 126kw/tonne He said that because its only 1kw above the law, they are lenient. But if i get in accident he will fine me. Once you get confirmation from Vicroads please forward me the email as Id like to keep a copy in my car.

haha yes it was the famous cop from Knox He was polite and informative though, although he was firm in believing the r32 was classified as a high powered vehicle. Was driving under speed limit and all of sudden there is a undercover behind me flashing to pull over haha Happened on intersection of stud and burwood hwy If anyone has spare set of tyres please contact me asap Cheers

sigh got defected for - horn not working - rear brake light not in centre of window - wrong tyre load rating for wheels Would anyone have a set of rims/tyres for r32 in road worthy condition? Going to have a chat with my dealer about this and was hoping for a backup. Wouldnt mind buying a set if anyone has them for sale Thanks Patrick

im after the demister vents on the dash. the long vents running near the front windscreen. Are they straight?no sun damage? Also a front left wheel hub Cheers Patrick

haha i had a similar story. my seller used the stock r32 wheels to compliance car but put back the rims which were sold with the car. Burwood vicroads told me they were the wrong tyres and I had to get them swapped back with the stock r32 wheels. Shouldnt the workshop have the wheels they used? I just drove back to my dealer and told them to swap the wheels with the ones they used.. Common thing for burwood vicroads to pick up little things like this. Apparently dandenong vicroads let it slide according to my dealer haha

projector headlights came in series 2 r32's Difference between series 1 and 2 include; - s2 heavier by a bit due to reinforcement bars in doors. - Different steering wheel (tried fitting s1 wheel onto my s2 r32 yesterday, completely different setup yet they look the same) - s2 plastic interior is the rough grainy look, where s1 has smooth plastic around the headunit etc - s2 has grey faces on the dash, where s1 has blue - s2 has a different ac compressor - s2 has different interior cloth on the seats - s2 most come with electronic front spoiler (although i think its an option) There is a lot of small differences between the two series' but they all make a difference
