  3. +1 I need to rewire the whole loom, now that it’s running fine, but the effort required is too much. Diff oil needs changing, dash cam needs installing, AFR gauge needs calibration, sound system to fit etc. Never ending & weekend-time is becoming more valuable to be spent worrying about problems lol
  4. Tyres will be purchased, once the rims are purchased, to fit the gtr guards, once the car is ready for painting, which needs a gtr bonnet & front lip ~_~
  5. Haha 370kw with tyres I planned for skidpan use-only and not a whole day of wet track sprints [emoji29] After I went sliding onto the grass, I saved the fun for the skid pan
  6. Martin confirmed Neo limiter and skids [emoji51]
  7. Martin where are the motorkhana circuit maps?

  15. 88e is old news, it's all about Day-trading crypto's. Multibaggers overnight.
  16. Problem found! Misfire issue resolved, crisis diverted! Matt from Nistune & Justin from RevZone did some live troubleshooting and found the NEO boost-sensor tripping! This was causing the car to r&r/misfire at random. Car is ready for its final tune Shout-out to Matt for all his help with Nistune. RevZone pulled-out all the cards to ensure a rock-solid final tune. As the tune was booked-in on a 36degree day, they refreshed the tune in the morning when it was much cooler. In addition, they even wired in their own Wideband sensor and finished-off with a road-tune to ensure it idles, cruises & drives perfectly. They even topped-up with extra e85 petrol as they ran-out The final result: Forged Rb25 NEO w/ GTX3071genII @ 27psi~ made a whopping 370kw atw Clocking the boost-gauge, its a blur watching it peak to 27psi~ A 2 year journey; from a rb20 230kw to a NEO rb25 370kw....its finally time to drive the car
  17. Just when I thought everything was well with the world, the car started to misfire...As the days went past, the misfire became more & more noticeable. Only occurring when light-cruising, I was scratching my head at what it could be. Checking coil-packs, replacing spark-plugs, disconnecting o2 sensor, cleaning AFM & even pulling apart the AFM to check soldering, the car would continue to surge & misfire!! Panic started to flood-in, did I break something fundamental, have I damaged this 2000km old engine before its final tune?!? Knowing my luck, this build has been anything but straight forward... Nothing wrong here... A glimmer of hope, Justin from RevZone contacted me & advised me that a tune-window had opened up just before Christmas. However with this misfiring issue playing havoc, this could mean another half-cooked tune if this problem chewed through the time. Not one to turn back a challenge, Justin said to bring the car past & they will check over it once more before the tune. Fingers crossed!
  18. Waiting for a tune window to open-up at RevZone, I decided to open a couple of presents from Nissan Japan. Some new window moulding, door-latches, air-vents & p/s piping. The difference between old vs. new is night and day! In addition, the new window moulding had fresh window guides which now stopped the windows rattling when down (bonus!!) To give the car the best chance for its final tune, cut a cheeky air-hole in the airbox, because physics...? Still continue to wait for a dropout to squeeze in before Christmas...
  19. Ended up booking the car in to my trusty performance workshop RevZone to investigate the boost buildup issue. Seeing as it could have been anything from electrical to mechanical issues, thought I would leave it to the experts to troubleshoot, repair & dyno. Success!!! the boost-creep issue had been resolved, with the turbo now coming on strong, quickly & holding. Issue was a combination of intake/intercooler piping leaks, actuator boost-feed placement & customising the actuator-arm for better wastegate range. Before & After of boost-pressure: Unfortunately not enough time for a full-retune, RevZone did stay back till late at night to make the car safe to drive. This yielded in a rough retune of 300kw atw. Followed with a nice picture of my r32 going through its dyno troubleshooting at RevZone. With RevZone's calendar booked-out for the rest of the year, the only option was to wait for a drop-out to fit me in for a proper retune with some serious boost Shout out to Justin & the team at RevZone (http://www.revzone.com.au/) for their continual support over the past 8 years I have been going there. What felt like death-by-thousand cuts would have taken me months to sort out, whereas they turned around the fix & tune touch-up within a day (& night!)
