  1. Paying off mortgage only relevant if you are retiring. Your property would be growing faster in value than what you can pay off in addition to the mortgage. I say yolo. Unless you planning to be some multi-property mogul and need as much equity now to borrow against
  2. okay - a small update - parts have finally arrived - my box of goodies NPC clutch - lookin fresh Performance Springs all lined up & ready for assembly! Neo head machined & assembled - ready for the Block! A winning combination - CP forged pistons & Manley rods... Spool oil pump spline gear fitted & crank sent off to be balanced.... The GCG turbo arrived & looking shmick! Quite large in comparison to my old hks2530 & as i wait for my engine to come together, the turbo has found itself on the coffee table for the time-being
  3. What I saw was at $600k it would be $615k with stamp-duty. At $601k it would be $631k with stamp duty. No fhb would take the risk of an extra $1 to be slumped with $30k stamps. A seasoned buyer with no concessions wouldn't worry too much about extra $15k but to a fhb it feels a lot more especislly when a single $1 puts you up another $15k
  4. Under the old scheme, stamp duty reduction capped at $600k. This created a bidding cap where the first home bidders stopped at $600k Any bids above this were from older folks & unfortunately there were always oldies pushing well above the $600k. The new scheme will allow first home buyers to pre-approve a larger amount but it just means there will be a lot more people closer to the $600k limit which will mean stuff all as it will be snapped up by an oldie anyways ~_~
  5. The gen2's were released November 2016 so it's only been a couple months on the market. When I was ordering mine, there was a 4month wait time calling around. The pic below shows you the difference between the gen1 & gen2. The link below explains a bit more about the technology etc http://blog.amsperformance.com/2016/11/03/new-small-frame-gen-ii-gtx-turbochargers/
  6. In Brunswick / Coburg all the old wog shops are being demolished with massive apartment blocks being put up. The 100yr old pub at the end of the street getting bulldozed and replaced with apartments. If you demolish all the shops & pubs - then what's the point of living there lol
  7. Nice and clean, unfortunately a bit too much. A clean r32 would set you back $8k & a standard rb25 swap would be another $2-3k. Yes it has a couple of mods but it's missing a turbo, injectors and tune which means you would need to sink another $3k to get its full potential. That would be close to $20k! And that's not including a final inspection detail.
  8. The dollar amount people are asking for r32 parts is ridiculous. Everyone has gone mad thinking they will become millionaires selling parts to the Americans. Just because r32's are selling for top dollar from Japan to America doesn't mean your banged up r32 from Dandenong will be shipped to America anytime soon.
  9. Both seem to complain more than do their actual job? /triggered
  10. Why would you ever leave :'(
  11. Probabaly does it all in business class.
  12. I bought a brand new aircon compressor from Nissan for my r32 gtst. Was around $1200. Quick search shows you the going rate. Best to double check your part number as many different models of compressors were available. http://nissan.epc-data.com/skyline/bnr32/3885-rb26dett/engine/274/27630/
  13. I can't upload/attach via the sau app on iPhone anymore. How else can I share memes
  14. Lol that's my pic as your avatar haha. Has anyone followed through with a question about it?
  15. GCG Turbochargers have sent through a cheeky photo of the whole kit ready for dispatch next week

  17. Forged rebuilt Neo engine with an e85 setup - is the plan!
  18. Copy+Paste from my Build thread: I am proud to share my latest purchase from GCG Turbochargers - A Garrett GTX3071r Gen2 T3 internal wastegate 0.82 low-mount RB setup. With the GenII only released 3 months ago this is the first low-mount RB setup to pass through GCG Turbochargers & onto me Big shout-out to GCG Turbochargers for responding to my endless FB messages after hours & helping me choose the right setup for my application. Not only that, but the turn-around from Order to Dispatch was a matter of weeks when other distributors were quoting 3 month lead-times. In addition, with GCG Turbochargers expertise in building turbos, they added a few extra tweaks to the build to aid boost control & overall flow. GCG Turbochargers supplied in a RB25 low-mount kit; with all gaskets, bolts, studs, manifold spacer, braided lines, actuator, extra cheese - hold the mayo. And to top it off, they been kind enough to send through some build photos

  20. If he was implying it was business as usual then there wouldn't need to be so coy... sounds like the intake of cars is slowing down? Someone drive past the moorabbin workshop & have a look at the number of cars outside?

  23. Norton is owned by Symantec!!!1!1!1!11
  24. I wonder if Symantec creates/leaks viruses so that it can secure against them. Looks like good money in it. Who polices the police. Who Symantec's the Symantec? /tinfoilhat
