  1. Okay; sleeved the intake pipe, replaced all hose clamps & changed to colder sparkplugs. Took the car back for a checkup. As show below; knock sensor was acting funny and causing car to run in knock map. Trent reviewed the tune and fixed up the knock map. He believes this was limiting the top-end power from last tune and hence was able to get more now. From the charts; 216kw @ 16.5psi (unsure of why boost has dropped from 18psi? Will confirm with Trent...)
  2. Not sure if sarcasm/hate.....
  3. Nek minut Making more power! Knock sensor faulting and tripping to limp mode!

  9. Fyi, The wet sanding was done on a fresh front spray by micolour
  10. I'd rather have a clean daily than a poser weekender. Anyone can put together a rough car, but I prefer to put effort in and get a good result at the end. Even if that takes another 7 years at least I will have the car I want and not have regrets about selling.
  11. too much...but worth every cent.
  12. Haha it's seen better days. When I picked it up from final inspection after wet sand. 'twas a mirror

  18. So replaced my BCPR6E-11 with BCPR7ES-11 Misfire is gone when pulling through rev-range! Someone explain! Was going to regap them if misfire occured but its all clear... i like power
  19. http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinfo/spark_plugs/faq/faqpregap.asp?nav=31200&country=US Another consideration that should be taken into account is the extent of any modifications that you may have made to the engine. As an example, when you raise compression or add forced induction (a turbo system, nitrous or supercharger kit) you must reduce the gap (about .004" for every 50 hp you add). However, when you add a high power ignition system (such as those offered by MSD, Crane, Nology) you can open the gap from .002-.005". Interesting...
  20. Awesome thanks for the /skylinesaustralia discussion in the wasteland. Thinking of buying bcpr7es-11 to see if misfire caused by heat range of plug. If issue still occurs, I'll drop them to 8mm? Thoughts on this? Cheers
  21. But less gap means less power Bcpr7es-8?
  22. Have misfire at high rpm. Looks to happen after long drive. (Wasn't showing signs at dyno day) Obviously misfire occurred after tune. Currently have splitfires, new coilpack loom & optima yellow top. Running bcpr6es-11 (11mm gap) Booked in for a review with Trent on Wednesday. Could my issue be spark plug choice (wrong heat range or gap) or a tune issue? Not sure if I should change plugs prior to trents...
  23. Bahahaha gold
  24. That's a long way away. What make the place worth the trip? You going there tonight?
  25. Cheers for the invite but tired of being third wheel/dat single life with couple friends ~_~ Kebabs only eaten after midnight. Fact.
