  1. Hey guys, can anyone recommend a good panel beater or repairer in the south eastern suburbs. Was involved in an accident tonight... my front quarter panel, head light and rear quarter are damaged, but there may be more hidden. Not happy at all

    Window Tint

Yeah i've got 20% on mine, it's a black car as well. I got it done about 9 months ago and had no probs at all with cops.
  3. Yeah that's fine, thanks for the pic greg
  4. Yeah i put an exedy heavy duty clutch about 20,000km ago. It takes a little while to get used to it, but it will eventually wear in and not be as tight. At first it does grip and jolt a lot.... and your constantly concentrating on avoiding stalling!
  5. Yeah quite a few places sell MagnaFlows as they're fairly reputable and well known. Depends where in Melbourne you are, i got mine done at Casey Exhaust which is in Berwick, they do a lot of work on high performance cars and have done heaps of skylines. The other place i know of that sell them is Dandy Exhausts but your best to just ring around as i'm sure many other places would stock them

    Window Tint

Hey ferni, try Premier Tint in Dandenong, I got mine done there. I went the highest quality film called Elite and they also tint a bit darker than legal which is what i went for. The quality is really good and i was really impressed with the service. It's around 300/350 but i got mine done for 250 with two other cars. I've forgotten the guys name but i highly recommend them.
  7. I've used a MagnaFlow Street Serious muffler, the exhaust shop were retailing it for 374 but it may be cheaper elsewhere. Yeah the angled cannon style does look good. This one is an oval shape but exhaust shops do the angled bend if you just get a cannon style
  8. Yeah that would be sweet, thanks for that. By the way i'm new here, i've had my car for 2 years now and browsed the site but never registered. Look forward to meeting some of you and checking out your cars on future meets and cruises.
  9. Thanks for that greg, i think i will just go with the coby's, so you think ordering them from partsco is the way to go? How long does it take and what do you recommend as to fitting them re the paint flaking off etc. Shall i strip the paint beforehand? Have you lowered you car or dos it still contain the stock suspension. It just worries me a bit if they're goign to be dragging on the road after lowering! Or going over a speed hump. I have lots of speed humps where i live Cheers!
  10. Yeah re-sale of non-turbo's scares me... there's soo many on the market especially turbo's and a lot of dodgey examples around that brings the prices down. My advice is to strip the car if you have any valuable modifications or accessories and sell them as seperate components. The market price of your car won't be affected too much as modifications are usually dead money
  11. If you've got a pic of the extractors fitted that would be great, otherwise i've seen a pic of them in a catalogue. I may be wrong but they do look a bit dodgey. Wrapping them in exhaust wrap and the red paint flaking off doesn't grab me either. I'm in Melbourne, are there any good exhaust places that would do a good job for a reasonable price?
  12. You've probably already got it by now but go a 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent system. I've got a magna flow muffler, #14827, its a single wall angle cut 4 inch tip, but oval shape. I was told they had a slightly better tone and not as droney... not sure if its entirely true. They also fit more neatly under the car, however i was after the cannon style and they do look a bit better. I highly recommend magnaflow though, just ensure you put a decent resonator on as mine hardly does anything and it's fairly loud!
  13. Yeah mine's the same, at first i liked it but now it drives me crazy. It's a weird vibrating noice once it hits certain revs. What type of exhausts do you guys have?
  14. Hey guys, have any of you got a photo of your car with the coby extractors fitted or any other type for that matter. I'm fitting a camber kit next week and contemplating whether or not to lower it at the same time or leave it stock to allow for the extractors if they hang low. I need to be able to get up my steep driveway
