warwick why bother just cutting the top outta the lid? just screw the filter into the box using the rubber edges and some washers under the screws, dont over tighten, iirc thats how slips filter is held on

its simple, the ceramic exhaust wheel delaminates after it gets too hot and usually you wind up with no boost and a rattling noise in ur cat (if its not a star picket special)

yer, i didnt run much more than that till i got my cooler on, the stock cooler used to get so heat soaked
