  1. well i did notice it was more powerful but as i said at the same time i did my afm mesh i put a pod filter on too, so yer, i cant see it making the car slower, and my turbines fins are in perfect condition so it obviously didnt cause any damage to the turbo so i guess its worth doing mabey you should try it and see if it does infact make a difference or not
  2. oh and my afm is also too big for the intake pipe i had on my car before too :S damnit i need to solve that problem now
  3. also i removed the second layer of mesh ( turbo side of the afm) on my rb25 filter, at the same time i put a pod on, so mines been running that way for a long long time
  4. well someone once told me it was there to smooth out the flow of the air being sucked into the engine, but the way i can see it was only one screen of mesh was needed to do that, the second one served no real purpose and there shouldnt be air coming back outta your turbo if your blow off valve is in working order
  5. interesting fact the rb25 afm standard has 2 layers of mesh on it, one on the inlet side and one on the outlet side the q45 afm only has mesh on the inlet side (remember mine is brand new, yay for a good deal) so obviously the second mesh isnt doing much, and can be done away with
  6. lol coolies, last stripper i had dance for me was a very hot little brunette
  7. damn you can fit the rb25 afm inside the q45 afm
  8. adrian yep, hopefully i will be ready for gavin on wednesday yet
  9. the path to sanity is circular my son, you cannot achieve sanity without first being insane, but upon being sane, you start the path to insanity
  10. all thats left is get a fuel pump, pick up my cooler pipes, get a pod filter and filter adaptor plate, get a afm plug so i can wire up my afm and put my turbo on (when i pick it up)
  11. id have no idea, but thinking out loud has often been mistaken for insanity
