If it breaks on the way home, it wasnt broken when they had it, and you cant always blame the mechanic/car yard. Sometimes you can.

Once I get my car back, and we finish the official club stuff off, I will be getting back into organising events again, I have been a bit slack lately, for a number of reasons. Your effort is appreciated Erin, if you don't want to organise events, thats up to you.

We just had a full day there, it was $160 a head inc lunch. I will organise another skidpan with 12 people in the future, unfortunately every time I organise one of these its a struggle to fill it.

Rb20det's are revvy, but they are sooooo gutless.

floody, the rb30e has no top end power, the head...the head. Strap a high flowing head on, and you have it all. Revvy does not mean fast! My 20,000rpm roadbike was slow.

car yards are there to make money, but you do get a stat warranty with the car, which you dont get with a private sale. I would find the best car for the best price which was been fully checked out by an independent mechanic.

depends on how you drive. I personally wouldnt use ultimates again, but if you dont drive / brake hard, they will probably be fine, but then again, so will most pads.

Yeah well it stopped you from telling me to go away all the time. I definately think more small cruises should happen if you guys want them, fortnightly, weekly, gold coast, bris, it all seems like a good idea. The nights events should be decided first though, you dont want 5 guys turning up for a mountain run when its a cruise to the gold coast.

rb26's car goes like a rocket, very smooth (except for the clutch) Atomic, no no no. If we have ph and hungry6, part of SAU, posting on SAU forums saying negative things about a workshop, theres a whole lot of SAU in there. We do not want bad relations with workshops ESPECIALLY in this instance, where there are obviously a number of happy customers. We keep it in PM and email in this situation. You would be very unhappy if you were the workshop concerned, they probably have no idea about this thread, and therefore no chance to reply. GTR does not bolt onto gtst head. I have seen an adaptor that was custom made to bolt an rb26 plenum to an rb25 head. Twas nice. Might be cheaper to just buy an aftermarket rb25 plenum, but you wouldnt get the individual throttle bodies probably.

If you are going to build the bottom end, why not make an RB30DE with cams/headwork/high comp pistons/computer?

an RB25 turbo IS A T28. Meggala - t28 doesnt fit in place of t25 on rb20det?

300rwkw with a standard t3........ maybe at the flywheel? 323rwkw has been done on an rb30et with a t3/4 + custom manifolds etc. t3/4 would be a better option.

A clutch is a wear item, if you slip it, it will wear out.
