Mate, I've been the guy on the bike hitting the car (which pulled out on me). Trust me, they know the risk. Riding a bike is risky, thats why its fun. They are "failing to stay within a designated lane" when lanesplitting, or something, which is illegal. Got booked for it once. $60. If it was my fault pimpspec, I would feel absolutely terrible if i hit a bike. It if was their fault I would be annoyed that my car was damaged. One guy almost took me out twice in 5 minutes. Looked me in the eyes the first time. Old bastard. Thats why you should always check mirrors and blind spots before making a move, you never know what is going to be there. Mind you, the old bastard mentioned above actually just failed to give way to me, twice.

Depends on the situation. Sometimes I would swerve, sometimes I wouldnt. Instinctively I go to swerve, I grew up riding motorbikes. Hitting something is never a good option, unless its top speed. Comes down to judgement and experience and ability to control your car. If you hit someone in the butt , its your fault. You shoud have been further back, full stop.

Shut up squizz. He needs to ask himself why. He is talking about crazy plumbing valve setups for two turbos, and he doesnt even know how sequential turbos work. Squizz - my brakes and suspension were suitable, realistic, and researched. They were done, and work extremely well. Very different to this crazy idea.

No i dont think I'm all that. In fact I know I'm not. BUT if you say to people "dont use your brakes too much" on a trackday, what do you want them to do? Open their drivers door and drag their foot along the ground? If you brakes fade, you pit in. If you dont pit in, that's natural selection. You might as well tell a drag racer not to use too much throttle in case he looses control. You are better off using your brakes too much, than too little. Diving in too deep under brakes is a different issue, thats all about judgement. That isn't what you said though. You can't blame ME for what YOU say.

Please refrain from making ridiculous comments like this. How do you know they ran out of brakes? I just spend almost $5000 on my brakes, should I not use them too much? Its time. I will be there. All i have to do is install a bucket seat, full service on the car, install a throttle calbe, totally dissasemble and adjust my rear suspension and strip the interior after 3pm on saturday. Wish me luck!
