A bit hard to tell from the photos, but what is the actual condition of the front plastic? Is it hazy, scratched at all or perfect?

Cheers for that, I meant nice as in tidy looking Got a few mates who have/had R31's so got a healthy respect for them. From what I've read, Bakes' car is now in Coffs Harbour, so it will mean one less R34 GTR in these parts.

Actually it's not Bakes' old car - I've had a black R34 GTR for a tad longer than Bakes and they do look similar from the outside (same kit, colour, etc). He used to have Gold Volk GTCs and the the silver Work rims, but I've got silver LMGT4's. Anyway, I'm not on here as often (so not as well known I guess ), but if that was your white 31 I was driving next to (before I turned into the stadium) - it looked quite nice

Just wanted to know if you could possibly help me - I had a fault with my MFD screen that it was cracking/peeling from heat. Purchased a replacement Sharp LCD screen from Jap Yahoo and upon replacing the original LCD screen I found that the new screen would power up but nothing was displaying on the screen itself - no GTR logo, no data, nothing. Tried removing and reseating about 3 times ensuring all ribbon cables and connections were secured - all with no luck. Finally decided to put the old one back in and the old one worked perfectly. Are there any adjustments or configurations involved if you are only replacing the LCD screen? (and not any of the circuit boards, etc) The seller of the item stated that perhaps a ribbon cable may be damaged or that the device may have been damaged by static/impact in transit (looked in perfect condition and was well wrapped when received) - and he won't refund or swap for another unit as he tests all units before shipping.

Still got the cigarette lighter for sale? What vehicle is it from and I assume it would be the same for an R34?

OK yeh from some research I've done, it sounds like these Bose units are more trouble than they are worth. Chris, what is the best option to go with for aftermarket? Will any double-Din solution be easy enough to replace the Bose setup or is there a lot of mucking about involved? Also, any aftermarket setup that can utilize the steering wheel controls?

How much for just the Bose unit with 6 CD stacker? Would have to be posted as I'm in NSW

My gf just bought a V35 and all has been well, today when fiddling with some of the MFD controls, we changed back to listen to a CD from the BOSE stereo and it displayed "Check Disk". Now after ejecting the CD and trying multiple CDs (burnt/original), it comes up with the same error and won't play the disk. Radio operations seem fine. Anyone come across this before?
