Hey all, I've been having some alternator and battery issues with my gtr lately. So a few weeks back voltage gauge was starting to show low voltages, worked out it was a bad alternator. Managed to find a second hand one that had been reconditioned in the last few year, had it bench tested and everything was fine. Had it fitted to the car and was all good. A couple of days later I started the car and saw the battery gauge fluctuating, noticed the headlights fluctuating slightly in brightness as the gauge fluctuated. So I tested the battery with a multimeter, and voltage is fluctuating between about 14.5 and 15.5 volts. Just constantly going up and down. Battery is brand new too. Any idea what it could be? Bad earth maybe? Car drives totally normal but voltage fluctuates both at idle and while driving, same amount at low and high rpm. I'm normally pretty handy with mechanical stuff but electrics give me the shits. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Dan.

Couple of minor grazes but overall good nick 32 gtr stock front pipe and cat $50 Heat shields a bit scratched up but pipe itself is fine. No holes or dents. 32 gtr door cards $40 Average condition, can probably be repaired. 33 gtr HKS hi-power catback $300 3.5" stainless steel, good nick, fairly quiet but still gives a nice note on boost. High flow cat $150 Near new, has had a flange cut off on one end but can easily have another one welded on. 3.5". Rb26 engine covers $100 Stock colour, suit respray. No timing cover. Oem 33 gtr floor mats $100 Full set, could do with a good steam clean. Decent nick. Rb26 coilpacks $60 Came as spares with my 33 gtr, car was running splitfires so never needed to use them. Nah don't have the manual unfortunately, is it available online? I think first bet is to pull the sensors out and give them a real good clean, see if that helps. Are they just on the back of each wheel hub?

Hey all, Hoping someone can help me out with this, done a search through the forums but can really find much that applies to my situation. So car is showing an anti-lock light on the dash (has a nismo cluster, pretty sure it's the abs light on the stock cluster). No 4wd light, and it definately has a bulb in there because it lights up when the car is on acc power. The anti lock light comes on as soon as I start the car and stays on, no flickering etc which I hear some people find. Did the check on the 4wd ecu and it's showing 2 error codes which correspond to the front left and right wheel speed sensors. The 4wd gauge is working so is it simple enough to assume the front wheels are still getting power under load? Has anyone had these codes come up before? How did you fix it? Seems to be a common issue but struggling to find anyone in Brisbane who is knowledgeable enough on the 4wd system to know what to look for. It is just a matter of replacing / cleaning the two sensors or will it be more sinister? Car seems to drive perfectly normal just that the light is shitting me. Sorry for the big story just want to give as much info as possible. Car is on stock ecu too. Cheers, Dan.
