  1. Hey mate what exhaust system is it running? Front pipe and catback with dimensions if possible. Cheers.
  2. Yeah a decent equal length front pipe is next on the shopping list. But good to know they're capable.
  3. Yeah it's a 3 inch stainless system. It has a pretty nice note to it but the tomei was definately louder. Just wanted to clarify because I know more sound doesn't necessarily mean better flow.
  4. Hey all, Recently purchased myself an r32 gtr, and one of the goodies it came with was a veilside catback. I haven't heard much about the system, just wanted to get people's opinions on it. Are they considered to be a good system? I fitted a tomei expreme ti catback to my last gtr and it was the best sounding thing on earth. I planned on buying the same system for the 32 purely for the sound, but will I see any extra power? The car is making 240kw atw with just this catback, intake and safc which says to me it must be decent. Just too quiet for me haha. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers, Dan.
  5. Hey mate do you have the drivers seat from an r32 gtr at all? Cheers, Dan.
  6. Hey all, As title says, 3.5" HKS cat back exhaust off my 33 GTR. Good condition, could do with a clean though. Can sms pics to serious buyers. Chasing $400. Would prefer local pickup but will consider posting at buyers expense. Located Brisbane Northside. Contact is 0419 961 fivefivesix. Cheers.
  7. Hey mate willing to post to Brisbane? Do you know if the shifter will suit r33 gtr? Cheers.
  8. I've been receiving a lot of offers for swaps, just want to reiterate that the car is not up for swaps. Cheers.

  12. Hey mate got an oil cooler by any chance? And oil filter relocation kit? Cheers.
  13. Just an update, fitted new splitfires and ngk spark plugs gapped at 0.8mm and the misfire is gone. Revs out to redline nice and smooth, no hesitation or backfires or anything. Thanks to those who made a positive contribution, that's what these forums are all about. And hey I guess I'd rather pick the kids up from school in a stagea than a tarago
  14. I have also noticed that under hard acceleration that on some occasions the fuel light pops on for a second or two, even on a full tank. Could this be fuel pressure related? I raised the issue on here a whole back, most people said it'd just be a dirty float in the fuel tank or something harmless. I don't have a fuel pressure meter, I could take it to a shop but when I'm asking them to help me with an issue I have limited knowledge on, I can just see that they'll see me coming and I'll be replacing parts that have nothing wrong. But I might start with the spark plugs and coilpacks, just wanted to get a few opinions first.
  15. Hey all, My gtr has had this issue since I bought it, it drives fine when kept under about 5000rpm, but above that it sounds like it's missing or something. I've done a bit of research and some people say it could be a coilpack/ignitor issue, others say coilpack harness, or that it is just leaning out at the top end and that an ecu and tune will fix it. Drives completely fine even at wot under about 5000rpm, and on some occasions it will rev out to redline nice and smoothly. Has an intake, 3.5" exhaust, stock ecu and some sort of blowoff valve (came with the car :s). Any ideas? Just don't wanna shell out big $ for a haltech or something when it could be a much simpler, cheaper fix. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  16. Hey mate I've got a HKS 3.5" catback with the mid muffler removed. Good nick, no dents, leaks, etc. Located Stafford, Brisbane. Let me know if your'e interested mate. $400 slightly neg. Number is 0419961556. Cheers, Dan.
  17. Hey mate, it looks to be slightly narrower inside the main muffler, but otherwise there are no step downs anywhere else, the rest of the system is 3.5". I would think that most mufflers would have some sort of step down wouldnt they? The mid muffler was also slightly narrower inside, but I've had that removed and replaced with a straight pipe. Can include it though if the buyer wants it. Cheers.
  18. Up for sale is my HKS Hi-Power 3.5" catback, off my 33 GTR. Selling because I've upgraded to titanium. In good nick, couple of scratches here and there but no dents, muffler polishes up pretty good too. Gives a nice note, not too loud while cruising but gives that great rb noise when you give it some. Chasing $400 plus postage for interstate buyers. Located in Brisbane, 4035. Also have 3x Cooper Discoverer ST all terrains, 1 brand new and the other 2 with 95% tread. Only 3 because two came off a camper trailer and the other one was the spare. 265/75R16, on 16" silver sunnies. Chasing $450 neg. Best contact is by mobile, on 0419 nine six one five five 6. Can text pics to serious buyers. Cheers.
