  1. I wish i knew how to. I actually got it done at XTC in Coburg. The guys name is Sam and he sometimes is on these Forums as Dr Drift.
  2. Used to race in Geelong. Had a Arrow Ax6 ultimate. If you are serious about it and want a good Kart that does what you want it too then i suggest you buy new as i have tried a few second hand ones that just dont steer right and you feel that your trying to fight the bloody thing due to possibly to many hits etc....... Cost for Kart was $4000 then if you want to race then you must rebuild entire motor and blue print approx$750. Then you require the obvious helmut, boots, suit, gloves, special made bloody trailer, basic spares. All up for a good set up approx $6000.
  3. Yeah same as above. Got rid of the flat spot and gained 29 rwkw at the same time. Best money spent so far.
  4. If it's just the mast your after you can replace it with one from super cheap as i had to when i bought the car and discovered it missing.
  5. As the title says im after one so if anyone has one to sell let me know!
  6. You could possibily look at a Walbro gss 341 that flows 255 LPH. You can currently pick one up on Ebay in Aus for 180 including postage. I have one of these pumps are they are very good. They are a straight swap with the standard unit.
  7. Is this system a much better set up as apposed to simple bleed valve set up.?
  8. Cam do you think it's worth trying to purchase a electronic controller or not.
  9. I have recently discovered that this box is disconected doing sweet bugger all. I now know that the boost is controlled via a solinoide hi low switch (bleed valve) type set up. My question is that should i persue in getting this hks box believed to be either a EVC or EBC, reconnected or just stick with the current set up. Note that of the box there is a wiring harness going inside the cabin connected to nothing. Any info on this item or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  10. I think just stick with the standard BOV it's good enough for your requirements.
  11. Walbro GS 341 255lt/hr cost 250 from autobarn. Straight swap of old unit.
  12. JPC. No thank's not again. 4 days to do a cam belt, no phone calls, did the work first before telling me what was wrong with it and then almost having heart failure from the price. Oh by the way $550 to do a cam belt supply and fit. Should have gone to a doctor would have charged less.....................................
  13. although i did not receive my print out last time, I'm in baby!!!!!!!
  14. I have had an SAFC2 installed about 2 months ago and i must say it's the best money i have spent. Yes the standard ecu when boosted made it run hell rich and produced 160 rwkw with a nasty flat spot and then after the install and tune of the SAFC it was a healthy 189rwkw and no flat spot. Sorry to hear your results Steve but i must say im very impressed with my end result. Stock cooler stock turbo, 3 inch from dump, EBC set at 12 PSI.
  15. True Adam nothing beats the power FC, but with the standard turbo and cooler and just the exhaust and some boost i couldn't justify the cost of a power FC if im not doing anymore mods.
  16. Mark it is a fact once the boost is increased the standard ecu makes the car run rich. I had the very same ploblem of it sometimes running good and sometimes not. I thought plugs, coils etc etc. But for the mods you have "trust me" a SAFC is the way to go. I now have much better fuel economy and the power delivery is mmmmmmmmmmmm. So for a total cost of around 400 for an SAFC and a further 150 ish to install and tune it is a much cheaper alternative to a power fc. For me anyway the SAFC mod was the best money spent on my car so far.
  17. mine is the same. 18 cold, 19 hot.
  18. when i first bought my r33 the air con didn't work because it was missing the belt. So replaced it and went to get the A/C regased. The guy at aircon place told me that now the compressor was caktus. I was told this was due to the tx valve blocking up and causing back pressure and resulting in the death of the A/C system. So ended up replacing the tx valve, the dryer unit and the compressor and obviously a regas. All new parts ending up costing 1000. But to me anyway well worth it rather than risking a second hand compressor unit.
  19. Oh and by the way it is now 189rwkw which im quite happy with.
  20. Geno8r. In reguards to dyno tuning and gains i will answer this one. I had my safc installed and tuned on tuesday and let me just say OMFG. Power gains or what. A nice 29kw increase. And as Sydneykid said which was right on the money the thing was over fuelling its titties off. The tuner said he had to lean it of all the way through the rev range and now the power is so sweet all the way through and no more bloody flat spot. To sum it up i would have to say if you are not going to go crazy in the way of mods and just want some boost and a nice power delivery the safc for me anyway was worth every penny. 400 to buy unit and 250 to install and tune.
  21. Hi. Would like to know if i disconnect my battery will this affect my safc settings at all. Cheers. By the way it is the safc2.
  22. As the title says guys. Any ideas, suggestions. Cheers!!!!!!!!
  23. Where did you get the install done Tim.
