  1. Interesting! I am pretty sure my transfer case is buggered, although my torque split gauge is not reading at all! I would have thought that even if it was buggered that the gauge would have read normally as per the R33 you mentioned above. Yup I located the air bleed connector - all good Cheers!
  2. I prefer to avoid the tricks and do things the 'right' way, which I believe is done as according to the manual. The ATTESA air bleed connector is mentioned in the R32 GTR service manual as being part of the correct procedure for bleeding the ATTESA hydraulic unit. The hydraulic pressure is generated by the ON/OFF operation of the air bleeding switch used for air bleeding operation. I will post a photo tomorrow of the switches location. Cheers
  3. Great thanks for the reply mate. Assuming that the ATTESA computer is always receiving data from the sensors that you mentioned above, what stops the computer from feeding the torque split gauge the input received from the sensors mentioned for example if the car is in RWD mode. In addition, would a failure in the transfer case itself affect the reading of the torque split gauge?
  4. So Matic D can be used to fill the transfer case also?
  5. Which sensors does the ATTESA ecu get it's input from to feed the Torque split gauge?
  6. Any progress dude? Have you checked for ATTESA ECU diagnostics? (flash warning error codes). Also check the level of fluid in your transfer case.
  7. Here is a few photo's from a horror story imported 1990 R32 GT-R to give you an idea of how bad some of the rust can really get! 8. What sort of damage can result as of this?
  9. Oh ok, I was under the impression that you could bleed ATTESA without the need to have the car running?
  10. Keep the skyline as a weekender and buy a magna/camry/commie for during the week.
  11. Would someone please upload an image of exactly which plug is the ATTESA-ETS air bleed connector (apparently located under the dash near the steering wheel) as I am having difficulty locating it. Cheers
  12. The car drives in rwd constantly. No front torque at all. Was hoping not to have to pull the cluster out ughh! Will check soon.
  13. Hi guys, I have a problem with my ATTESA system not working at all (constant rwd)! I have attempted to run a diagnosis on the ETS control unit however I am not getting a flashing LED. On top of this I am not getting any 4WD dash warning lights. I have checked all wiring and associated fuses with no issues. Also would someone please show me (photo would be nice) where the air bleed connector is located? Thanks dudes

  20. Great replies, cheers guys. This weekend I will check ATTESA diagnostics and see what comes up. Marlin I will also check the ground wire you mentioned (any chance you could post a photo of the ground wire location?). If I am still unsuccessful - bleed ATTESA time.
