  4. Haha nah man, I'm getting old I need four doors
  5. I know it's not a Skyline, but after selling my R32 (3rd one I have owned haha) I decided to try a GD WRX which was definitely not the car for me, So I recently sold that and bought this.... 1999 Mitsubishi Evolution VI (6) RS-2 She's basically a stock Grade 4 except for a HKS turbo timer, HKS Titanium exhaust and HKS Hipermax-Pro coilovers. She arrives early next month!
  6. Guys I urgently need a front left hand side (passenger) R32 GT-R outter tie rod to buy/borrow = beers to run over the pits with. Can anyone out there help me out? [email protected]
  7. NGK Laser Platinum PFR6A-11 Spark plugs (6) to suit RB26DETT. Used for 30 odd km's (diagnosed incorrect problem). Have not gapped them. Bought for $120.00+ from Repco, Sell for $40! [email protected]
  8. Received a few emails regarding a trade. Sorry but this car is not available for trade, cash sale only. Thanks
  9. Got my new car today, kindly someone at DPI licensing centre at City West backed into it and did a runner. Cheers! Karma karma karma
  10. Getting the feeling it's hydraulically related. Probably have to try bleeding it again.....
  11. Congratulations dude. They certainly are a car like no other - Enjoy
  12. Ok so now the Torque gauge is sitting at 10 constantly..
  13. Hi guys, My GTS-4's 4wd system is functioning rather erratic, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not kick in at all (eg I can stomp first and smoke the rear wheels all the way to limiter without going anywhere) and other times it works really well (eg I drove it in the rain yesterday and could flog 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with full traction and lots of pull from the front wheels). I have bled the system, the transfer case is the goods (recently changed it) and I have no error codes... I am pretty sure I bled the system correctly (1. disconnect air bleed connector under dash, 2. bleed nipple above diff, 3. bleed nipple on actuator, 4. reconnect air bleed connector). Any ideas?
  14. Yup same problem here. Anything come of your problem AtomicBomberMan?
  15. Ok first thing, ATTESSA is farkin awesome! First day I get it back on the road and the rain is pouring here, can't believe the traction! What a blast to drive Anyways almost everything is sweet, the only issue is I have remaining is a random clicking noise from the resistors in the boot that are positioned inbetween the rear lights behind the trim - any ideas what these are?
  16. Just an update, box is back in. What a struggle to lift that thing and get the right angle!! We spent allot of time sweating it out in the pit in the heat. I really recommend no less than 3 people to put it back in unless you've got a gearbox jack or a hoist available. Anyhow, I shall bolt up the rest and hopefully have some launching action tomorrow Happy new years people!
  17. Hey mate, Just to give you an idea, I have removed and replaced the following from my RB26DETT R32 GTS-4 Skyline.. All sound deadening A/C condensor/Compressor and associated plumbing HICAS solenoid and lines ABS control unit and lines All interior carpet Rear seats, rear seatbelts, rear trimming, rear parcel shelf and rear speakers Stripped boot out bare, no tools, no spare, no trim, no sound deadening Fibreglass body kit (skirts/rear bumper) Fibreglass bonnet Bride fibreglass drivers seat The verdict? It's pretty loud but far from irritating as I enjoy listening to the 26 and being able to hear almost every sound the car makes brings the driving experience a little closer, having the carpet removed doesn't bother me at all - easier to clean and I have nice floor mats! Rear seats? Omg I can't do fully sick bog laps with mates, damn Maybe the half cage in the rear might assist in saving my life one day... So how does it drive? Like a fricken go-kart and makes the 3 normal (unstripped) GT-R's that I have driven feel very toned down (read: overweight slugs) in terms of response, handling and braking. At the end of the day, it's your car. Stripping a car will always be a sacrifice in some areas of practicality but with substantial performance orientated gains to be made I am more than happy with my car and wouldn't have it any other way. You just have to weigh up what the car means to you and how serious you are with your driving. At the end of the day the beast does not exist in the factory trim.
  18. Turbo timer does either 5 or 3 minutes countdown.
  19. I have a Bride Zeta 3. Very large improvement on factory GT-R seats Just getting in and out is a bit of a bugger sometimes.
