  1. Im sorry about arguments on this thread. I do not write much forum about tune before because tune is depends on tuner. But I think we have tell best information on thread now. Because many people thinking need a lot of money for tune. I do not think so If its not full tune. So This times my answer , 370 cc injector is able to make 250kw+ but if you want to go race track I think bigger injector is better. If you never go to race track 240-250kw not problem.
  2. Of course realtime tune is better. So Im asking to customer would you like to mail order or real time tune. If customer want to real time tune I will go another state for tune. But some customer want to remove boost limiter (R&R) and do not want to spend over $500 for ecu. Many people want to better power and response (not best) but do not want to spend over $1000 for ecu. I think my mail order remap is good for like this customer. Many people buy like a mins ecu but I think my remap is much safer. Because my data is for Australia fuel. I always explain to customer when hot day please boost down. Also I told if customer will go race track I will adjust AFR around 11 depends on power. (Many tuner adjusting to AFR 12 so they say AFR11 is too rich but I think around 11 is safer for race track.AFR 11 is normally cylinder temp around 850 degrees) I can tune for customer request. If customer want to power I can do it but I will explain for risk. If customer want to safe tune I can do it but bit lower power. If customer not happy I never charge.

  5. I fixed AFR to 12.5 at around 4000rpm on dyno. Customer up load sheet before fix AFR. But yes , I adjusted AFR12.5 around 4000rpm and 6000rpm around 11.5-12.(also UNIQUE AFR 4000rpm 12.5) He told me never go to race track so I think this AFR not problem. I explained to him if you will go to race track I need adjust AFR to around 11.
  6. I send chip by mail order so Im telling to customer please go to dyno for check AFR and engine knock. So dyno operator checking AFR and engine knock. If engine will knock or AFR is too lean or rich I will send another chip.(some time talk to dyno operator) I do not doing bigger injector mail order. Im doing std injector only. Also Im writing If you are not happy I will refund money. If fuel pump change to bigger fuel pump , fuel pressure will bit come up (if do not adjust fuel pressure ) so fuel will rich side.

  8. If you are using power fc and fc logit please send your data. I can check data and if possible I will adjust then send back to you. Do you have wide band AFR meter? Im using x2 shops dyno and both mainline dyno but I can not tell same power or different power. Yes,power is depends on dyno so 10-15kw different. I think your RB did not install Bosch 044 size. Or fuel module broken. Fuel module is in boost right hand side and adjusting fuel pump voltage. If this is broken , power only 10V so fuel will lean.
  9. OK What % is your injector duty? Normally under 80% is best. Around 230-240kw 80%. 250kw is around 85% but if car is not race car I think injector do not over heat. If your tuner think injector duty 70-75% is safe for race car , yes,Im agree. But its not injector max.
  10. Im using knock monitor k-mon and knock around 20. Anyway Im talking about injector. This injector is 370 cc and std fuel regulator. 220kw is not injector max.

  13. I told $700 road tune and dyno tune include 1 hour dyno tune. For std turbo Road tune only $550 dyno tune only $600 include R33 ecu modified and chip. Road tune and dyno tune start 10AM finish around 4-5 PM I real time tuned Mr David Stankowski RB25det engine drift car in gold cost last time QLD trip and he got second place after my tune!   15. If installed hiflow fuel pump , 250kw is not problem. I found how to calculate injector size. http://www.motec.com.au/fuel/injectors/ What size will you need? The engine power divided by the number of cylinders, gives you hp/cylinder. As a rule of thumb you will need 5.5 cc fuel per hp. For example a 600 hp eight cylinder engine requires an injector flow of at least 600/8 x 5.5 = 412 cc/min per injector. eg;250kw is around 340hp. 340/6 x 5.5 = 311.66 So 311.66cc injector is for around 340 hp (250kw )max. R33 injector is 370cc so 250kw is enough size. If you do not believe me please ask motec , haltec , etc.

Another customer nick name OoskylineoO . He got 267kw std injector. I think around this power max. But if go to drift or race track bigger injector is safer. Do you want to more customer name? 370 cc injector is 370hp max for 6 cylinder. eg; gtr injector is 444cc so injector duty 100% is 444hp. You can search and calculate this.

I think you are talking about AFM. If your tuner say injector 220kw max , I think tuner do not have knowledge. Yes,AFM max is 220kw so if you use std AFM , AFR will lean after 220kw.
  18. You do not need injector for 250kw. You need Z32 AFM,R34 hiflow turbo (R33 hiflow around 230-250kw R34 250-270kw.R33 hiflow is responsive than R34),044 pump,and std alone ecu or my remap.(I do not recommend piggy back for RB25DET.) Ph 0410490049 e-mail [email protected] How to tune on road I will fit wideband air fuel ratio meter(same dyno machine O2 sensor), and lap top computer, Gizzmo KMon Knock Monitor & Analysisor,before we leave. While the customer is driving,I will sit in the passenger with my laptop. Start with 2nd gear, winding up from 2000rpm-5000rpm to check car condition and datalog. I will make fuel and timing map then 2nd gear again to check air fuel ratio and engine knock. After making rough map on 2nd gear, we will go to freeway .With 3rd/4th gear, we will be running on freeway from 2000rpm-3000rpm to check engine response and engine knock. Then next 3000rpm-4000rpm ,this will be repeated in increments of 1000rpm.If we find flat spot , slow response , laggy,engine knock etc I will fix and tune on freeway. After that is done, we will go to small mountain then check response and power feel. Take around 4-6hours. If customer would like to check power and power curve etc we will go to nearest dyno shop.If necessary I will adjust fuel and timing map ondyno.
