I think he do not want to spend over $1000 for ecu. Im using nistune product (Im nistune dealer) but some customer do not want to spend over $1000 for ecu. So Im doing chip tune and nistune both. Chip tune and nistune is exactly same performance.

Nistune board is $242 plus install $60 total $302. Z32 ecu need modified for R33 cost $60-80. Z32 ECU $100-200. So just ecu $462-582. How much is dyno tune? Is SA very cheap? In Sydney around $150 /hour.(around 3-4 hours)

I think he want to cheaper tune . Mail order tune is only $400.(R33 ecu tune) Yes , real time tune is better than mail order but my mail order tune is much better than like a mins , Blitz etc ecu. Because my tune data is for Australia fuel. If I come to SA and real time tune (R33 ecu tune) from $600 R33 ecu exchange (min 3 people) I think local tuner $1000-1200 plus Z32 ECU around $100-200.

260kw is only good condition cars (I think mainly engine , intercooler and muffler). Normally 240-250kw same dyno. 260kw and 250kw fuel map and timing map is almost same.

Its not happy dyno. I tuned S15 on same dyno (MX5 mania dyno) and I made 198kw. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=497151&hl=toshi&st=0 He went to unigrup dyno day and he made 207kw on unigrup dyno. You can ask him over PM. .

I told if you worry about ecu I can change to S1 ecu anytime. Also we can go to dyno.

My English is not very well so very hard to explain but I try it. Dyno is checking power from around 2000rpm to around 7000rpm. If make good map from 1000rpm to 5000rpm (do not touch after 5000rpm) you can get more power on dyno. This is dyno machine. eg; fuel map do not touch (do not adjust) then only timing map adjust from 1000rpm to 5000rpm (make good timing map) you can get more power on dyno but fuel map is same ( injector duty cycle is same.) . R33 injector never lean out at 15psi. (max is 15psi)

I made 260kw at 15psi so never 100% injector duty. Injector duty is around 88-92%.(depends on AFR)

stagea S1 ecu can not real time tune but chip is able to change to remapped chip. So if you want to boosted up or install hiflow turbo I can do remap.(I sold 5 chips for S1 stagea.S1 stagea map is exactly same R33 S2 map) But if you want to install big injector and big turbo in future I recommend HKS FCN Vpro(gold) Fcon Vpro is able to use auto.

Your mods $550 full road tune. Omly touch up tune is $90/hour. ECU is all same about your mods. If you want to boost over 19psi and its race car I think haltech or motech is better than R33 nissan ecu. Because haltech or motec map is 32x32 .(But some shop is tuning only 16x16 so you have to find good tuner)

R33 GTST have to change map for more power. Some series 1 ecu will read boost limiter map at std boost. step 1 power 200kw (ecu tune from $550 all include) Front mount inter cooler,not JASMA turbo back exhaust,hiflow fuel pump , air pod , boost controller. boost 12-13psi.toshi real time ecu tune. step 2 power 230-250kw.(ecu tune from $600 all include) I recommend Hyper gear R33 hiflow turbo , Z32 AFM , Hiflow fuel pump,AND toshi real time ecu tune . step 2.5 power 240-260(ecu tune from $600 all include) I recommend Hyper gear R34 hiflow turbo , Z32 AFM , Hiflow fuel pump,AND toshi real time ecu tune.
