I'm running Splitfires in my RB25, also running 12psi. Should I have the plugs gapped at 1.1 or 0.8?

Thats normal I think, same thing happened on my tracking but then a day later it had arrived.

I ordered my splitfires from Nengun on the 10th February, took ages for the tracking to work on it after he finally sent it 3 weeks later. Then within 2 days it had gone from Japan and arrived at my desk at work Very happy with nengun, great price if you don't mind the wait. Cheers

make sure your exhaust system is nice and loose too (but not too loose). Does your exhaust tip move much if you give it a kick side to side? I say this because the stiffer your exhaust is the more vibrations will travel to inside the cabin via the '8' shaped exhaust rubbers. When it is looser the exhaust rubbers absorb more of the vibration and reduce the droning in the cabin. Hope that makes sense.

oh right - i thought so. Heard on the Hobart grapevine a couple weeks ago that it was now RB25 though?

Na wasn't me - I couldnt make it to that. I think there's another RB25DET or maybe its an RB20DET VL, with plates AVL2NV. Perhaps it was that one you saw. Mines just a plain Jane white/silver Calais - no kit.

Griffo's definitely not rude, has helped me out heaps and saved my bacon a few times when I was doing my engine conversion. Chris Tanner's custom work for any exhaust/intercooler + piping/plenum/catch can etc etc etc is also unbelievably good.
