  1. To my understanding, if I'm not modfiying the rails in any way (Which I'm currently trying to find out if it's possible) and running ADR approved side mounts (velo side rails are) then I don't need to get it engineered. I need to find out how the actual seat is connected to the rail and if it's possible to put my side mount brackets on using those mounting positions. I haven't found any ADR approved side mounts, but i'll VERY happily be proven wrong.
  2. Hey, just wondering if there's a DIY guide (I tried to search, but had no success) for removing the standard r32 seat from the r32 rail? But my mate also reckons my seats MIGHT be r33 seats... I personally don't know enough about skylines to know the difference between seats, but does the mounting method change? If so, I need to know how to remove r33 seats from r33 rails? Orr...... has anyone got a good detailed picture of a bare rail? I'm trying to work out a way to adapt a side mount bracket for a bucket seat to the standard rail so my seat rail will be ADR approved. Cheers, Cameron.
  3. Yeah, I've got ISC coilovers and the car's so low that I need to put the car on blocks to still be able to get my low profile blue point jack under the cross member. BUT, it all came like this, I haven't touched the suspension at all. The first set were x amount old, but I screwed them within 300k's, but I did a decent amount of launches cause it was my first AWD car, the novelty didn't wear off quickly. Then I put a second hand set in (couldn't find new ones) so they were also x amount of k's old, and I got about 3000 out of those. Including a full track day at a hillclimb with close to 20 runs up the hill dropping the clutch at around 4500rpm.
  4. Hey guys, I've currently gone through 2 sets of CVs in my gts4 and they're reasonably expensive to continuously replace, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a heavy duty replacement or atleast something stronger? Cheers
  5. So for the front end, I'll need: GTR bonnet (acquired) GTR bonnet catch GTR Grille GTR front bar GTR Reo GTR gaurds And no modification is needed? I might do the complete front end at once then, while I'd be painting and taking stuff apart. Where did you find the fibreglass panels for the rear, and why did the quarters need cutting to get the most out of it? How is it all mounted?, cause it looks nice and flush and like a cop wouldn't be able to tell it's not factory, which is ideally what I'm after. A clean looking, but still stands out from the crowd kind of car.
  6. It definitely is! Which is why it's my wallpaper on my phone and computer! haha
  7. Used as inspiration to get my car to look like this!
  8. Hey guys, I own an r32 GTS-4 4 door and after doing a little bit of searching, came across this... http://frsedan.com/2011/03/14/collaboration-strong-r32-sedan/ I just bought an Aluminium GTR bonnet, and I'm wondering about the grille and bar. Will it all bolt straight up? I'd also like to look into doing the wide body style, as seen in that pic, further down the track when I can afford some decent wheels to fill them, but haven't seen any 4 door wide body kits available? I'll most likely get the GTR front gaurds, but am still stuck with the rear. The one in that link doesn't look like it is an aftermarket item that has been fitted, although I could be wrong. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers, Cameron.
  9. How exactly do these work? (Obviously besides holding the wheel on) Like, why are they inverted? I bought some Volk Racing meshies with centre caps, and my current wheel nuts don't fit under them, and I need some that don't stick out as far. Will these work, or are they completely different?
  10. As the title suggests, I'm selling off my set of Koya Drift Teks due to changing wheel style. They're 17x9" +35 all round and multi-stud to suit vehicles that have a 4x114.3 or 5x114.3 PCD They do come with tyres, 3 have Federal 595s although one has camber wear and the other one is a Kuhmo Ecsta. All tyres are still above wear indicators by different amounts. $1100 ono, Located in Gulfview Heights, SA 0422248143 Cheers, Cameron.
  11. Really? So mine has been removed... (There's no actuator in the door). That's so lame, haha. Will the n15 pulsar one fit on the existing mounting points with no modification needed?
  12. Hey guys, I recently bought my R32 GTS-4 4 door sedan and I'm in the process of installing all my audio gear and while I'm at it I thought installing central locking would be a smart idea. Only thing is, after inspection there's really not alot of room for it via one of the after market kits, so I was wondering if; a) Some 4 door sedans came out with central locking b) If yes to a), then is it too much time and effort to fit to a car without it or are all the facilities there? c) Is there a popular kit that people use d) If someone knows of a write-up/ how-to guide to do it as I've never tackled central locking before. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!
