  1. I would also like to know about a kit for the gtst. I have been thinking about one, and cheeper it is, the more likly I will/can get it. mmmgtir - you said $5,000 is that for the total kit? bummpers & side skirts??

  5. A frient of mine has is commodore parked in his driveway (on a main road). He had a steering wheel lock. He found his car with the rear wheels in the gutter, his steering wheel on the back seat (the lock still on the wheel). The only thing that stoped them from stealing the car was that he had bugger all petrol left in the car!!!!
  6. The main reson I find rwKW handy is to see what differance to power your mods make. As well as an easy way to compair you car to others. Yes 1/4 mile times would be better, but personally I have taken my car to the drags and probably never will. So the only stat I have for the car is the mods and the rwKw. The first time I put a car on the dyno was my old 260z, it had some mods from the previous owner. I did a few things to it as well. I stared with 77rwKW and ended up with 96 rwKWw. Compared to my stock R32 GTS-T doing 140 rwkw there is a big differance, but what I look at is the change after mods (ie 19kw increase).
  7. Thanks for the info, it has help to clear some things up for me. Since I dont drive it hard (all that much) there isnt much i need to do. Except make shoure it has warmed up before driving it hard, andif I have been riving it hard to take it easy before I pull in the driveway. Thanks again.
  8. Being a new R32 GTS-T owner (as well as it being my first turbo car). I have heard people talking about warming up & cooling down the turbo... Being new to turbo cars, I just want to make shoure I am not going to stuff it up. My R32 is stock (except exhust) and I was wondering about the do's & dont's with warming up & colling down with turbos. With a stock setup is it a big deal or is it when you have high performace parts on the car? Reece
  9. Well my 6" speakers dont fit in the origonal molding. So I am just cutting up some MDF and will repalce the plastic moding. By the way it looks I will have heaps of room. I havent finished them yet but sould be done & installed by the weekend.
  10. Tanks for that.. I will get it checked out. The thing that gets me is that it doesnt use all of the coolant. It will just get down to about 1/5th of the overflow as stays at that level? I checked the overflow and I cant see any holes. I only notice the coolant appear after I have stoped driving. I think I should have a look under the bonnet after I have gone for a drive and see if I can find where it comming out of.
  11. I have just had my R32 GTS-T for just over 3 months (and loving it ). I am having a problem with the coolant level. After a toping up the coolant levels & driving the car, when I next check it is has gone very low. Upon inspection of my driveway I am finding puddles of coolant! I am not finding the car running hot or anything. I am thinking it could be a blocked up radiator or even just a stuffed radiator cap. Any suggestions as to the cause and how to fix this up? Thanks
  12. I am getting some 6" speakers for my R32. It would be good to see what the spacers look like for the front doors (ie. pic's please). At the moment I have no idea how i am going to fit them, and since I dont have them yet it just makes it that much harder to see how it will work.
  13. It would be good to get a manual for a R32 GTS-T. Would healp heaps as only just got my R32 3 months back and have no documents with it at all!! CD would be good as my dialup at home sux big time (28.8k )
