  1. Hey guys, Thanks for organising a great day. This is very different from your usual Sydney Dyno days. Nice small and cosy lol.....too damn cold but. Thanks for letting me be the 31st man (My fault for coming late!) but it was good to meet some new people. Happy to say this....well done to the Toyotas for winning the event hehe.
  2. Hey Guys, Just spoke to Jimmy and he is happy to take my spot. Is this ok with the organisers? Cheers Shane
  3. Hey guys, Anyone want to buy my spot? My wheels havent come in . Looks like its a no goer for me. Everything is sweet, just got tuned, car is running good, got a car trailer and even bought a landcruiser (Not just for this day obviously but i really wanted it before this day)...and my wheels are still in the air . Unless someone has a pair of 18 x 10.5 or 11 wheels? Ive got tyres, ive got front rims but not rears.
  4. lol my bad. I was jk about 12k! Im a toyota clown and know nothing about nissan prices so disregard my comment. Probably incorrect for someone who doesnt know how to use a socket set. When your doing all the work yourself with a helping hand from friends all it takes is time. Ive seen this car first hand. Other than the hood (Which isnt that bad, still lines up, closes properly etc) the paint work (IMO) just needs a good buff, polish and wax!
  5. What a machine! 1:05's around wakefield with just an amature driver!!
  6. This thing is a machine, and will be sadly missed. Our track battles were over once you whipped me!! haha
  7. I have no idea what this Noble is haha
  8. Is that how much an F430 is? Geez, what happen to GFC?? Ive seen a few F430's just here in Syd! I love the LF-A, Some think of it as the MKV Supra hehe. I hate the fact most of the newer cars are filled with electronic (g)aids, and flappy padel gearboxes. It takes the challenge, fun and excitment out of driving. Ive watched a few Youtube clips of R35 GTR's doing under 1:05's at wakefield. While its damn fast, the driver seems like he has a sandwhich in one hand, and the other hand smoking a cuban! When Im doing 7's at Wakefield in a rwd floor shifted manual, im sweatin my ass off, using both feet and hands simultaneously! While its not doing 5's, its damn fun and challenging. Cars are becoming all about numbers IMO. Who can produce the loweest number at the back of Motor/Wheels? 0-100, 100-0, 400m, Shift speed times, how fast they can get to redline etc, while not thinking if it as a drivers car!
  9. So guys, what is the deal with bringing in 88 imports? Does it still need compliance of course?
  10. Awesome, thanks Beerbaron. That one there is an 88.
  11. Hey guys, I know you could import these before, but can you still??
  12. Probably a less headf**k to chuck out the 1g and throw in a 1j. Stock 1j turbos are ceramic, and never last, a good upgrade is the HKS T3G.
  13. Man, Ihave never seen rotors go like that. Atfer how many track days with your previous pads, your rotors were fine, one track day with the ferrodos, and your disc looked and felt like runnig your fingers accross one of these steps:
  14. Time to upgrade your sig cuz!!! 1:45 EC on Street Rubber!!
  15. funkymonkey, thats cool, tahnks for the tips. Trust me I get more flammage in the Supra world with my "Stance". I actually love the look of it, and specifially ordered them in those size/offset. It was no mistake. Another pic someone posted today from a meet on the weekend.
  16. I have no idea wht is involved with flaring. Id love to get them flared slightly (not dodgy like some drift cars I seen). but have no idea who does it. I dont want to spend $$ on a respray either, and as far as i know, you need to respray once you start flaring?
  17. Hey guys, thanks for positive/neg feedback. Its rare to see a supra with aggresivness. I actually think mines the only one around the world with the crazy fitment with stock body. That red car is running TRD widebody rear. Id love that, but too much $$. I took my car to a place to flare the guards, but they said on a supra its a really big job. They have to actually cut out the whole guards, and get a new guards and work on that..or something along those lines. Bottom line is it would cost alot and require a respray. Also I can lower it more, but the front lip scrapes everywhere as it is, plus my alignment/height is setup for track work with smaller (gay offset) wheels, so I need to compromise that. Here is my old SA-90 & RE30
  18. ^^ Lol sounds like an Auto? Stock Auto box?? Ohh gtr dont come auto...GTsT Auto? lol.. Point of my vid, is its running a Stock gearbox..Anyways....my imput: might be biased but Supra...stronger, funner, more reliable, probably better on fuel too...still not bad for a track car (Im doing 1:07 at Wakefield in my relativley stock [gt35r, injectors/pump, ecu, semi slicks and coilovers]...not many GTR's doing those times with more mods) and too heavy? its lighter than a GTR....mine weighs 1440kg...
