  1. As i am the one that sold the engine to you, i will explain again what the spacer is. When i imported the car (a stock silver top 1993 R32 gtst), i noticed a spacer between the head and plenum which was connected to a Japanese gadget type module in the engine bay which had "Auto Save Green" written on it (everything else was in Japanese). This module was then connected to another box underneath the the passenger side carpet with some sort of adjustment on it. When everything was connected, the car drove beautifully; when i disconnected everything, the car still drove beautifully. I, therefore, pulled everything except the spacer out of the car. I attempted to remove the plenum to take the spacer out, but it was more difficult than expected, so i left it in and enjoyed no apparent loss of power etc. When you remove the injectors, you will notice an element (not butterflies) running the length of the plenum. I reckon this either heats the fuel (i dont know why) or aids in better mixing of the air/fuel mixture in order to produce better economy (thus Full Auto Green). Now that you have the engine out, pull the ****in thing off. The engine is a low kms 93 silver top sold to you at an excellent price with a compression test that was performed prior to removal from the car. You were not ripped off or had; i have been completely honest with you. Thats it.

  6. Yeah, im interested in a 40mm unit for my R32 gtst (with a gtr engine if it makes any difference). Can you just bolt on the standard fan cowling though? Any other mods necessary?
  7. Yeah, im still in; its a great price. I was just wondering if you had the same experience as HKS-R33. Im unaware of how long you've owned one of these gear knobs. Ive got a Momo one thats done exactly the same thing; maybe you cant avoid it.

  17. Does anyone know a basic conversion from engine HP to rear wheel HP. I realise that it will differ greatly between cars due to drive train losses, but a rough conversion would be appreciated. Shaun.
  18. Go Jim Berry. Im getting a clutch built by him at the moment. Ive done my research and i havent heard anything bad about him. I spoke to him for an hour on the phone and he knows his shit! Why dont you ring him and ask if he can rebuild your clutch? 07 3847999. Shaun.
  19. Im in the process of building an RB26 with forged pistons and all the other (expensive) stuff, and im trying to sort out fuelling issues. Im aiming for between 330 and 350rwkw with a single high mount turbo. Ill be using Sard 700cc injectors, which by my calculations should be adequate. Ive also figured out that if these injectors are at 100%, theyll be flowing 252L/Hr. I, therefore, need a pump that has the ability to flow 252L of fuel per hour. So if i want to run 25psi maximum boost, does that mean that i have to find a pump that will flow 252L/Hr at 65psi (40psi fuel press. + 25psi boost)? If this is correct, which fuel pump will do this if i want to retain an in tank set up? If i am not mistaken, the Bosch 040 will only flow 235L/Hr @ 73.5psi, and one of the Walbros will flow 255L/Hr but only at 50psi. Any help (Sydney Kid) or feedback about the above info and calculations would be appreciated. Shaun.
