I got done couple of weeks ago by the RTA i had gauges on what they refer to as the "A" pillar which you (arnt) allowed to have. The guys from the RTA unit were cool about it they told me its cool where it is but id have to remove it a soon as possible no gauge should be put over the steering wheel , when i returned to my car the cop that caught me said that i was gona a cop a fine for the gauge anyway ****EN cops!:pissed:
Thanks Guys , i spoke to a few more R owners they reckon its a characteristic of the clutch you have and the noise means your clutch is slowly on the way out , also i havent heard other skys apart Rs with this noise ?

I too have hit the HICAS blues i recently noticed after i replaced the clutch on my car that the HICAS light was coming on and i would also experience a slight knocking noise with some ****house steering problem. I read up on what u can call a manual on the car and it said to check the fluid on the power steering pump i noticed it was a bit low so im gona top it up today as when i checked it was late and wanted do it when there was proper light. ill let you know how i go and if anyone else knows any other sure fire solution other then removing the hicas altogether let me know , but when you come to think about it if all else fails why not hey ?
oh yeah !
I have done the Hicas test on a prior occasion it was O.K. then not that you can tell much by it?
