  1. I'll have a dyno sheet after the 28th...if I can get a coil pack by then. The last of my shitty R34 packs has decided to give up the ghost!!! The Series II R33 ones seem to be built much better for some reason???
  2. This was already done a couple of weeks ago Yeronga...could be handy in the future...I work there
  3. Ahhhhh today has been soo good, I think I'll top it off with a night at the casino
  4. 35-37K would be realistic from a car yard
  5. You need access to a laptop...seriously though I used to have PC in the garage with a long cable on it that reached into the car....as long as you've got a computer nearby you can adjust the settings. The benefit is it takes literally seconds to type in the new settings whereas PFC contollers are time consuming Have a good read about it at www.mohdparts.com If you're considering getting one, get it from this guy (Mohammed) as his service is second to none..very helpful.
  6. A full kit would be in your hands for $700 (e-manage + both harnesses + software) at the moment, and you can install it in less than a day easy It handles boost cut and atmospheric BOV idle too...it really does have some good features.
  7. Get insured with Just Cars...then you know where you stand in the event of a claim, I've had nothing but excellent dealings with them. Some clown drove into my car and damaged the front..it was repaired in less than 2 weeks, no problems and plenty of contact from JustCars end to make sure I knew where the claim was up to, and a follow up call to make sure I was happy with the repair. Some companies would rather spit on you!
  8. Yeah starting the car won't pose any problem...it's when the gearbox has to start changing gears...that's when things get ugly. I've got an e-mail from Apexi somewhere stating this...as I looked at getting one for my car
  9. Nothing wrong with an SAFC...just thought the way he was talking he'd want some finer control of the ratios...and if he wanted to adjust ignition curves one of the only engine magement systems that'll work with the tiptronic is an e-manage. Didn't want to tread on any SAFC toes
  10. I'd take the bagging like a man the GTR front just looks tuff as!
  11. yeah you need to break out the angle grinder on that thing...chopskies!!!Not that I've looked into it or anything Either way the GT-t bonnet needs to be modded a little bit. And the GTR front spoiler needs to have some slight "massaging" to get it on without that bulged look from the sides being pinned in.
  12. 1 hour to go of an easy day....seems like it was a sweet deal..will seem sweeter on Friday morning when I don't have to get up
  13. Bolt on GTR panels and a front...like Ernie did to his silver one
  14. Comparing to the SAFC isn't really fair....the SAFC can't do a fraction of what the e-manage can. The main thing to remember is people with Autos can't use the PFC. And with the e-manage you get laptop software that a 2 year old could use, PFC isn't so simple and is time consuming especially if people are using the hand controller to tune. You've really got to look at what your end use will be, I don't think the SAFC really has the tuning resolution required for any decent engine upgrades....E-manage allows injector upgrades/ AFM upgrades etc etc. I'd go a PFC if you have a manual, and access to a decent tuner. Dan
  15. www.mohdparts.com for all your e-manage needs....as for fitting if you're confident with a soldering iron, it's easy as!
  16. Bah I'll piss 200rwkw in on 5psi Well maybe 8psi at this compression ...and it may only last for a few seconds haha
  17. Just wondering who in Brisbane is actually taking the public holiday today….I had the option of working today and taking Friday off…..hmmm long weekend And it’s soo not busy here today
  18. Yeah I had that white P on the windscreen....when I got pulled over by the police they were asking strange questions about "Is this your car?"...maybe the fact the ECU and loom was hanging out looked sus, probably thought it was just flogged fron a car yard haha.
  19. SK...my car is an N/A with a turbo bolted on....problem RPM points just reffered to the factory ECU...where the timing is a bit too agressive under boost. It's the odd RPM point through the MAP that needs to be retarded a tad. Dan
  20. Hey what can i say...any ECU that lets me piss around with it at home has major novelty value for me Leave my timebomb out of it...it's almost ready for some *real* tuning LOL
  21. Another thing guys....the e-manage 100% allows the timing to be advanced...I know this has been a source of discussion as to how it does it....it just does At Idle advancing 10 degrees there is a noticable change in pitch from the engine, retard 10 degrees and it reverts back to normal. Proving the "psychic" abilites of the e-manage to predict the timing and therefore advance it actually works!!! It's actually most likely as someone suggested...running the timing a cylinder out and reordering it in the correct firing sequence....to mimic and advanced state. Dan
  22. Hooray!!!! The ignition harness works with a little bit of customisation
  23. Your only option for engine management is the GReddy E-manage....luckily only just this weekend I've managed to find a way for the ignition harness to be wired in without issue!!! Check out the e-manage Thread at the top of this section to get more info on it...it's the last few pages that are relevant.
  24. e-manage
  25. Forgot to mention that the check engine light comes on when the harness is wired in, this is due to the ECU self-check on start-up. This can be eliminated by getting the GReddy e-manage ignition signal adaptor…as far as I know this is only applicable to the R34 and WGNC34. This however doesn’t interfere with the performance of the car, just is annoying to see it on the whole time. http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/index.htm
