  1. Jay, I'm sure the ones at Jimboomba Shell are about that for a day...give them a call
  2. I like the GTI's...need more power but still a sweet car
  3. When someone gets one landed, can you give me a price what it was on-road...could be interested in getting one
  4. Reminder bumpage! Just so people don't forget
  5. Ahhh below the pocket..about the only place that I didn't look I e-mailed Pete from PLMS developments, he said someone with an R34 has ordered one of the interfaces to try...so I'll let you know how it goes when he get's back to me. Dan
  6. From what I've seen yes it uses Consult-II as opposed to Consult-I but that's just for actually diagnosing codes and altering data on-board the ECU. But they both use the same base OBD-II language whcih should decode as normal. Either way I think it's worth a shot just to plug it in and see. BTW Ed where is the Consult connector in the 34? Just had a quick look around the fuse panela nd couldn't see it????
  7. Can someone with a 34 please try this out???? Anyone in Brisbane/Goldcoast who has one want to try it on my car?
  8. Anyone know if these are plug and play for the R34?
  9. I reckon you should buy a nice blue R34...which can be returned to N/A in a snap
  10. Count me out, my life won't be worth living if I go on Sunday
  11. The whole package delivered is actually US$500 (inc freight) which is ~ AU$690, customs & GST is a strange one, as my package was opened & inspected by australian customs and sent on it's merry way to me without ANY additional cost. The support tool is readily available as a *free download and clone USB cables can be had for US$50 this will also bring cost down a bit. Dan
  12. You can get the e-manage for $700 delivered, this is a full kit including software for a laptop. And contrary to belief the shifting is not affected at all, I'm running an N/A computer with boost, so my ignition curve has been messed with drastically from the factory values and it shifts as sweetly as it ever did.
  13. My car did this last Friday, turned out to be a dodgy plug on the coil pack harness...you could literally put your finger on the coil-pack plug and it would run fine, take you finger off the plug and it'd run on 5 cylinders (rough) Try that out. Dan
  14. I've seen MI BABY around at forest lake...she gave it heaps
  15. SK you'll need a cushion on the seat after all that government reaming! Good luck with everything!!!
  16. Yeah saw this yesterday COD sounds good to me haha Says he'd prefer to make the deal in person....as he busts a cap in yo ass....and runs off with the loot Then again how else would you buy a car? "leave the keys in the third bin from the corner on Ann st" Get a REVS check done, if it's got a clear title and isn't stolen, why not make a bid on it!
  17. Thanks champ!
  18. OK, with respect to the compression ratio of the RB25s comparing the DE to the DET is the compression ratio governed by the head design or the pistons? If anyone has access to both a DE and DET head, are you able to check and see if the combustion space volume is the same or different. Thanks, Dan
  19. I thought my last original coil pack died the other day, displayed the same symptoms you’re describing…this time it wasn’t the pack that had died, it was the connector on the loom. Just pushing slightly on it was enough for the missing to stop!!! I cut it off and replaced the spade terminals, and now it works fine. It was very intermittent as the connector expanded on heating making the terminals…break contact now and again.
  20. Hmmmm all is quiet
  21. Autoterminal at Meadowbrook should be able to help you with getting one in.
  22. Brisbane Street Machines has one...it's silver, auto.
  23. As the title says...please no links to wreckers that try and charge $100+ for them Dan
  24. I went to Queens Rd crash, it was convenient
  25. In my car the loss of power was the coil packs not having the punch from about 3000-5000rpm. This started when it was still N/A and caused most of my dramas tuning after the turbo was put on. I replaced 5 packs to get it back to normal, and today the last of my R34 packs died so it's starting to miss again and lose power in the 3000-5000 range
