The NA pump is an extremely low HP unit, pretty much pushing the limits at around 200hp the GTt unit is more like 325hp, people push them to get bigger output equivalent numbers but with FPR adjustment....different cars hit different limitations. Wiring is the same, just get a nice GTR pump for more headroom and ease of install

Not with an R34, the primary ignition code means the pack (transistor) hasn't fired, hence no spark on the secondary coil. You gap away all day, no spark means no fire.
