its pretty much hard to say really..esp. with import cars...for sure most import had the odometer clocked back...when i purchased my r33 it was fitted with a GTR dash with has 40K on it...but the original dash has 85K on it and the car was imported on 2002..i've put an extra 5K on it since i got it,.now lets say my car has done 100K ( originaly ) well.. i have to say..it still is running smoothly for a fairly moded one. just really depends on how you drive it and look after it...crash it and go R.I.P. i'd say 35cm for a piace of string.

yeah actually i did end up going down...pretty good...a bit busy...took the yandina road- bruce hiway on the way back home..i had a good drive..so yeah..would do it again. i wont start till 6pm this sunday...so,.i might jaz do it again..but depends.

yeah true that... but with a tiny mod..it should be alright...read thru some post on here about CAI partitions.. some actually make use of the old box..under it is a hole and outside air can go thru it. check the DIY section about CAI. i'm using a nismo right now and i plan to locate that somewhere where it can suck better air from the outside..i'll show you once its done.

LOL.... ha ha darren...yeah,.. that was nathan who used to own that TOXIC starlet..used to be the quickest one around.. but he sold that one ages ago to our boss..you might still see it around rarely..but NO..he doesn't drive a WRX wagon..but a MAGNA wagon.. he sold that to get his 1st house pretty much..but from time to time,.he borrows the starlet and take it for some serious belting. which i will be doing in a couple of days...i'd be headin down noosa to take me car for some serious belting...u should join me if u get the chance.

well...the only serviced i've done to my car recently was to change air filter, oil and oil filter and flush coolant...which pretty much done by myself. frankly though,..i wouldn't trust any mechanic around the coast to touch my RB engine... but that's just due to past experience...sometimes they do good job,.but most of the time they tend to fix something and next thing you know,.another problem occurs...i'm not sure if being done purposely just so you come back and spend some more bucks on them. Darren,..yeah i heard of george may.,.he was the one who did my friends starlet..but haven't really heard if he does RB engines. well...im just waiting for my power FC and my 800HP turbo and my 550cc injectors/fuel pump to arrive...once evrything's organised...i'm heading down to either Millenium motorsport or Mercury down at brisbane for a fine tune.

well...i actually migrated from overseas...i first went up north ( Darwin ) and have to say.. i'd never live there..that's just my personal experience though..then i moved down here coz my old man bought a house here at Mooloolaba..when i got here..i was like.."yeah, why not " LOL.. i have been here on the coast for 7 yrs. now and i have pretty much seen it grows and still growing...i must admit that i love the place..pretty laid back as everyone says..alot of tourist..and alot of job opportunities aswell...well..being a chef i supposed, job isn't really that hard to come by. best thing to do i guess is really to come down and see the place yourself..look at the lifestyle,..and the job opportunities..im pretty sure there's some computer job around considering the numbers of businesses that are being build up.

hey just a question...how does the AVCR works ? would you set up the boost manually ? would you be able to set boost levels depending on gears ? and would you still need boost gauge if you have one of this AVCR since you can set it up to a certain boost pressure..i mean you would be able to view it on the LCD screen right ? im thinking of geting myself one.

Hi all.... Anyone who has the know-how would kindly pls. show me how to read a wiring diagram for an R33 ECU. Reason being...i just purchased a 3' tacho with shift-lite and would like to hook it up...i have done my research and found some info but not enough... i would appreciate if anyone who has done this before kindly help out. its for an R33 Gtst....i know what wire to hook up but i dont know which one is the #7 wire from the ECU...i tried counting from the bottom pins up to 7 pins but it didn't make sense coz the diagram reading it should be the 4th pin to the right or something. How to read this ? it would be handy if someone could point out what colour wire is the tacho wire ? I appreciate the help.

actually saw one when i went to my car in the car park..i was like..WHOA...a GTR parked in front of me...i had a lookie abit and guages everywhere.. and i was like...WTF ...?? its a GTST...hmmm...unless it had a conversion.??? i dont get people with GTST and has GTR badge on it..maybe it's true..you get extra RWKW from the GTR badge. but what i would like to know is...... would that make your car a 4WD too ?

i have a Q. How about split dump pipe ? are they any good compare to the dump and front pipe in one ? coz i was thinking of getting myself a split dump and 3' front pipe instead of the 3'dump and front pipe in one.
