  3. got a woof 3d V4 installed on mine -- pretty good stuff i must say.. has a built in boost control set up... just need to tune it properly though.-- hard to find a good tuner for it.

  7. i know a few who has 230-250rwkw with stock internals... wouldn't probly go beyond 250rwkw though. estimated guess would be 240rwkw is the safest.

  11. hmm...interesting thread... got my Wolf 3D V4 installed recently.. last time i had my car dynoed it was 160kw on shoot out mode with only FMIC/boost controlerset to 10psi and cat back exhause. Now that i had my wolf 3d and 3 turbo back with high flowed cat.. i managed to hit 180kw in 10psi but i'm not too sure if this was on a shoot out mode or tune up mode.. but i'm guessing that's the tune up mode coz i had it installed and tuned and had the car back at the end of the day and the tuner showed me the power its getting. incidentally though... does anyone here knows if you'd be needing a z32 AFM for wolf 3d ecu ? or that's only compatible with Apexi ecu ?
  12. get it re-tune... my tuner set a boost cut on my computer just to save the life of my turbo.. my car is set to 10psi-- at my current setup..that's all i need,..he will tune it up again once i get my new turbo and other stuff. so yeah..just tell your tuner to allow higher boost.
  13. 280-300rwkw hey... that's plenty of power.. you mite need to consider going tuff internals like forged pistons and other things. but yeah.. more powa more fuel.. your engine will always go thirsty after every grunt of powa. 750cc is recomended for 300rwkw.. and 044 fuel pump . aftermarket computer and alot of other things but most importantly.. DOH-- alot of DOH involve. good luck.
  14. i guess i was correct with getting the rb25det ECU.. but does this means i would need the complete loom from gtst to go to the GTS ? like the complete harnes ? i guess its one complicated process.
  15. never thought series 1 are diff. to S2 skyline.. but im buying same model/year engine so it shouldn't be a problem then.

I was just having a discussion with a mate who owns an R33GTS. and he was thinking of buying an RB25det engine and manual box and swapping it with his RB25de with an auto which i thought was not a bad idea---> if it would work though. he reckons its just pretty much a straight fit..but wouldn't he need an RB25det ECU for this ? and would need to modify maybe his breaks or whatever. has anyone done this before ? and is it a straight fit ? What's involve in doing this sort of conversion ? your thoughts would be appreciated.
  17. yes... it's 35%... the darkest legal tint you can have in your car.. all u need to do is go to your local tint place and get them inspect and make a written note saying that your tint is indeed 38% and is LEGAL tint. it would suck if u need to pay for the defect.
  18. i always thought GTIR are 4WD ? and not front wheel drive hence they branded "baby godzilla"...Dyno tune can vary.. it could just be the air fuel ratio leaning or running too rich or timing etc. dyno computers/tuner can determine what needs tuning. it could cost a fair bit.. i'd say roughly $90/hr ? not too sure.
  19. i guess i will need to purchase an engine crane for this one.. saw one at supercheap.. not too expensive. a friend of mine paid 1800 for labour when he busted his engine.. which i think was alot of money...so i would rather do it myself and save some money.
  20. Hi all... just a simple questions. Say i got a busted RB25det engine and just purchased another one.. due to lack of budget i have thought of taking the engine out my self and put in the one i just bought... now the BIG question are : What's involve ? How hard ? is it worth it or better off taking it down to a mechanic ? i've heard that its pretty much a straight job since its the same engine anyway.. sort of a plug and play kinda thing. and anyone from Brissy who has done it willing to help out ? HE HE HE.. i reckon it should be fun... a new learning experience. SHOULD I DO IT ?

  22. only problem with wolf...its huge and doesn't fit where the ecu were so it needs to be mounted elsewhere. and its a bitch to tune but this is bec. PFC is too common and almost everyone can tune them nowadays unlike the Wolf..not many good tuners around.
  23. Hi there. I have for sale is an r33 standard ECU.. i have just upgraded to an aftermarket one..so i no longer need this one. its in excellent cond. will send anywhere in australia. $150 including shipping. it came off a 95 gtst R33.
