  1. Got any pics that were taken above sea level.. Looks good nice mod list.. More pics..
  2. Its too bad your country removed the old 15 yr rule I am the proud owner of 2 Nissan Skyline R32's for under 10k. $4000 GTS-t 4 Door Automatic 53,000kms still smells new. Swapped in a GTS motor for gas mileage. Sold the RB20DET for $1200 - $300 for the RB20DE S14 Rims w/winter tires free $5000 GTS-4 4 Door 5 Speed 75,000kms REALLY clean R32 GTR rims for a perfect stance, $400. But at least you have access to newer japan cars..
  3. I have a R32 skyline GTS-t that was in a similar accident to that when I got it.. You covered most of the parts, but the absolute best way to do it is to get a complete half cut and sell the engine. P.S. You WILL need a new water pump, as the clutch fan bolts to it. And while your there do the timing belt and idler tensioner. Good luck on the repairs, have patients get it done right and you will be happy again.
  4. I had the same about of oil and once I got a catch can it went away, but yeah get your engine checked out, only way to be sure.
  5. GTR's and GTS's are the same but because a GTS one would normally go on the top DIN, it has extra tabs that stick out of it, you will know what I mean as they will be in the way, so you need to cut them off, either a hacksaw or a dremmel will work, then it should fit in one of the 2 radio spots. Hope you get it sorted.
  6. No I do not wish I owned a GTR instead of my GTS-4, the RB20DET has been underestimated by a lot of people. By the time i'm done I will make quite a bit of power and rev nicely to 12,000 rpm..
  7. I've seen a few people asking around in here I've already posted this on GTRCanada.com so I thought I would post it here.. taken from and put together from a lot of sources.. feel free to add any info if you have it.. 8. R32 GTS's (RB20DE 165bhp/119kw flywheel) are great.. I have one as a daily driver never had any problems.. I'm sure there aren't any in australia anyway but stay away from GTE's as they are slow as all hell.. (RB20E 130bhp/96kw flywheel)
  9. Infact even before R33 GTS25t type M.. All series II R32 GTS-t's were type M SOOO ever since 1991 all 2 door GTS-t's are type M... there was 1 r33 GTS25t type G but that was a 4 door So unless you have a R32 GTS-t series 1..( which can be a type M ).. or unless you have the Rare 4 door type G then you definately have a GTS-t type M..
  10. yes there were 560 Nismo edition R32's I WANT one.. haha
  11. Just get a R32 GTS 2 door or 4 door 5 speed.. comes with 162 hp.. pretty decent I have one as my winter beater..
  12. I'm not sure how your rating is compared to here in canada.. but I use 87 octane in my Daily driver non turbo GTS and 94 in my GTS-4.. we only have 87, 89, 91, and 94 at the pumps here.. 100 octane in japan = about 95 here in canada.. so 94 is the best we can do.. but the N/A doesn't need the higher octane gas.
  13. Stock minus catback, 6k launch 6.3 sec. also with a g-tech.. Not GTS-t.. a GTS-4 ...
  14. In japan everyone tries to be "American" .. its the thing to do and is has been for a long time.. so they put in english wordls all over the place..
  15. Check the breather tube first, but likely moisture is getting in somewhere. So find some new sealant and pull the sucker apart. 10-15 minutes in the oven at 200 deg farenheight.. NOT CELCIOUS.. and it will come apart with ease.
  16. Well I'm from canada and havn't really looked into your compliance regulations. But I guess they refuse cars that aren't stock?..
  17. That is the color I would have painted my 4 Door when I got it, but once I recieved it the original paint was too perfect to paint over.. :laughing-smiley-014: Very nice car.. I like the track shots..
  18. I love seeing 4 Doors together.. There aren't enough 4 doors in canada.. Nice cars
  19. People who think that in japan they rolled back the odo on most cars are only fooling themselves. Think of the size of Japan and the population, the price of gas and cost of insuring it + the huge cost of shakken. In japan its cheaper to buy a new car then keep an old one. In japan its cheaper and QUICKER to walk/take transit then drive. These cars along with most cars in japan were used mainly for weekend/evening fun. That could be just plain cruising. I've had a couple skylines along the way and everyone of them has been a gem. As long as you keep a budget of around 2000-3000 a year for the OH SHIT fund you will be fine.
  20. well I wouldn't think you would be lucky enough to have one but the only car to have the gold RB26 valve covers stock are the R34 NUR specs.( R34 V-spec II Nur, and R34 M-spec II Nur) Likely someone just painted them..
  21. it will bolt on but as previously stated the RB26 covers are too tall to have the stock manifold/intake set up and the VCT gear makes the front cover useless..
  22. All Series II GTS-t's are type-M, All GTS-4's series I and II are type-M. All of them have the bigger brakes, alloy wheels. I can't recall which ones have which, but series I and series II coils differ in the fact that the contact point is a spring on one and a solid piece on the other.
  23. Unless you have a huge brake upgrade 20's will look rediculous.... stick with some nice proper offset nice and wide 18's Oh and the stock aero looks great, body kits are too flimsy..
