I would suggest using an Apexi Power FC and have it tuned by either CRD or The Hitman In regards to parts, I would talk to a good engine builder to discuss what your aim is and what u want out of the motor and the most effective way of reaching such taregt

in that case just put some new pistons in there with strengthened rods etc.. and an aftermarket ECU and tune it well

Another option you have is buying an RB30 block, put forged internals in that, and put ur 25 head on it dunno if you'll get away with 8k but it's an option
