  1. Really f*cking nice build there mate She'll be an absolute weapon.
  2. Already read that mate thanks but not what I was after. Question has been answered though so thanks. For anyone elses reference, the hub nut does undo and is a conventional right hand thread. "The hub nut merely holds the half shaft into the flanged hub. Undo the nut, light tap on the half shaft and it will go in towards the diff. (if you have sufficient room) But the drive hub is still the same distance from the backing plate. So next step is to undo the 4-setscrews holding the wheel bearing onto the hub and then you'll have the drive hub/wheel bearing assembly in your hands. (These 4-setscrews are extremely difficult to get at in situ)" (Thanks to grigor)
  3. Yeah I know but the wheel studs I have are almost double the length of the standard wheel nuts as the standard ones are too short for my new rims. I have tried even cutting one a bit shorter to no avail. Anyone please tell me which way the hub lock nut turns?
  4. All I can say is "hahahahahahaha". I think it was for Top Gear Australia magazine?? Did anyone else see it and lol?
  5. I haven't bothered reading all four pages lol BUT, I know you can definitely disengage the 4WD system if you do the following: Whilst driving along (after turning off your turbo timer) and still in gear push the clutch in and turn the ignition completely off and then back on again. Your 4wd light should come on and you will be completely in rwd until you come to a stop which will engage the 4wd again. My car stalled a few weeks ago whilst I was driving along and when I turned the car back on again it did this. I have also heard rumours it works before this and yeah just confirmed it does. Not sure if it works with all gtr's or just an early model glitch.
  6. Anyone know which way the wheel bearing lock nut turns? This is the 36mm nut that secures the hub in place.......... Urgent help please!!!
  7. Can anyone tell me please how the QFM K750's and K500's are? These are the same pads available in the group buy... Keep in mind these are for a street driven R32 GTR with some drag strip days...
  8. I let my gf drive my old silvia all the time. She loved the power of it. Now when she has to drive her mum's lancer she hates not having the power there lol. I'd let her drive my gtr if she could reach the pedals/push in the triple plate clutch haha. Guys, if you don't want your gf to drive your car just get a triple plate clutch or get a bride rail and recaro seat!!!
  9. Do you which way the huge lock nut I'm talking about turns???? Because its on the wheels and it turns, I've heard some often thread one way and come off the opposite way or something???
  10. Hey, Got everything off to change the wheel studs but the wheel studs are too long to get behind to pull through so... How do I get them on now? We tried to undo the big nut on the centre to try and take off the thing the studs go into but even a rattle gun couldn't get it off. Is that the only way to get it off to get the studs in or? What's the best way to go about it? Thanks in advance, Chris.

  12. .... DAMN. *runs to bank and realises i'm poor* hehe twooble.
  13. Hey, Just need a seatbelt buckle for front passenger in r32. Both fronts are the same so it doesn't matter which one you've got. I'm in qld too so it would help if you're in qld as cheaper freight but not essential. Thanks in advance, Chris.
  14. Got an email today for one on j-spec for $38,500 for a 2000 model GTR.... That is amazingly cheap!!!!!!!!!
  15. They look massive... wow. Amazed nobody mentioned dahtone_racing R32... it's rollin' on 20's.
  16. Sometimes it is but as you can imagine the car is 10+ years old so if it's never been removed before then it will definitely need some gentle persuasion. One of mine came off fairly easily when I had to get one of my wheel studs out and the other side was really tight and wouldn't come off.... Just the build up of shit over time I guess.
  17. I won't sell the skyline no matter what fuel reaches. Buy a bicycle probably for getting to and from work if it gets that bad.
  18. Got the fitting thanks guys, Just want to clear it up and make sure that I'm looking at the right thing but: the stock oil pressure sensor... is it right next to the oil filter toward the rear of the car?? I've decided to use the stock oil pressure sensor spot and I've bought a t-piece to run them off. Cheers.
  19. With those wheels I think you need the 34 GTR spoiler or something similar... You'd definitely go no spoiler with dished wheels though. Looks hot and definitely one of my favourite types of whees though. Nice work.
  20. Thanks heaps guys.
  21. Hey guys, Got an oil pressure and oil temp gauge to install in my 32 gtr and I was wondering what fitting I need to fit both of them? The sensors have 1/8" thread Also, where abouts is the standard sensor? Is it easier to install there or use the oil filters location as suggested in the instructions? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris.
  22. Haha yeah looks like it'll be on for next thursday night. Bet there'll be heaps of cops out for a while since that lakes creek road crash...
  23. Anyone going for laps tonight?
  24. That car has also been rear-ended... It's cheap, but personally if I had that sorta money I'd prefer to hunt down a straight one over a cheaper, crashed one. We'll get the jap spec ones before aussie nissan gets them here I reckon.
