Was any thing done to tune your car? I made 202 rwkw(270.9rwhp) with 10psi , pod filter , dump back exhaust, stock ecu stock turbo, walbro fuel pump, FMIC My previous r33 dead stock did 201rwhp wiht stock airbox etc and its power curve didnt look as ruff as ur one??

Really? i thought u couildnt get r33 pfc any more? if u still can im going ot try sell the safc neo when it gets here and get a pfc

Its got a safc neo comming , on hind site i shoudl have forked out for a PFC. Will it let me pull timming out because i can alter the air fuel ratio? Cheers.

total kays are 125thou , timming belt done at 117thou and rebuild i am gussing some where between 90 to 110thou. SO u htink its worth getting then to check the timming belt is its alligned correctly? Will it be fine to just leave alone? thans Mad082

hi guys got it fixed yesterday on the dyno made 128 rwhp fixed- replaced fuel pressure regulator replaced airflow sensor ( the 3 i tried previously where dodgy) for some reason timming is quiet advanced because hte car didnt want to do any hting on the standard base timing? dont know why? After tune made 270.9 rwhp or 202 rwkw ! very happy! The air fuel ratio is still very rich according to the tuner, Tuner says when my SAFC neo comes should be good for over 300 rwhp. Total mods are- -walbro fuel pump -metal intake pipe. -pod filter -boost 10psi -dump back exuast -Delta fin fmic -stock turbo and stock ecu -oil catch can Pretty happy with tune so far

Your not wrong about these cars not getting any younger, If it is the timing belt pretensioners woulnd they maybe casue the belt to slip? some times at idle there is a wirring sort of squiggle noise from the cas area. The cas bearings are fine so it may be a pretentioner?

Lol with my luck the timming belt prob isnt fitted right hahah, wouldnt the tuner pick that up maybe? any other suggestions?

I pretty happy As far as i know the cams are stock, The previous owner claimed a rebuild and showed me some photocopy of a trade reciept for acl pistons but npothing else so i am doubtful if it is legit. The Timing belt was changed a few months ago. "R33S2" are u asking if the cams are differnet because the CAS seems to be in the far advanced position? im curious as to why this is too? Yeah two things wrong makes it hard to diagnose, expecially when i ruled out airflow meter my trying two and resoldering one. Cheers

Hey guys! got it back from FIST performace, guys there where great very knowledgable. Okay when it came in on the dyno it made 128rwhp. List of things fixed. - I had a busted fuel pressure regulator - MY airflow meter was no good!! i tried 2 sensors previously and also resoldered one but that didnt solve it. - Timming, The cas seems to be in a very advanced position, Tuner said for some reason this car needed a lot of timing to do anything. I know the car has had a rebuild from previous owner with pistons but thats all i know. - boost 11psi When it was sorted on the dyno it ran 270.9 RWHP or 202.1 RWKW. Air fuel ratio varied from about 11.8 - 10. Tuner said it still runs very rich. I have a SAFC neo comming so that should help things in that respect. Does any one know why my car needs more timing than a normal r33? And what do you guys think about the power figures? any thoughts? Total aftermaket mods to this stage are, - pod filter - metal intake pipe - walbro fuel pump - FMIC delta fin style. piping is hybrid copy. - dual stage turbo xs boost controller(low 9psi- high 11psi) - GFB BOV switchable plumb back type. No its a start then stop thing. The tubo spools as normal but car serverley hisitates, almost undrivable, cant really take it over 2.5-3k I dropped it into F.I.S.T. performance as they are local and one of the few workshops open today and the only works shop who would take the car with such little notice. So fingers crossed i get it sorted and i will report back as to what the problem is. I have found other posts with similar issues to what i experience but when they get it fixed no body reports how they fixed it

to copy the blitz lm piping using the stock intake pipe and turbo pipe u only need to get two pipes to 3 pips made max. When i got it done about 2 years ago it cost me $400 including fit of the intercooler but thats was a real good price. Things should be cheaper now so u should get it done for about that at any reputable work shop who is experienced in intercooler piping. shop around and explain what u want as est u can.

Blitz Lm is the way to go mate, i have had the hybrid kits and they are good but u got to cut holes plus i dont like running pipe between the radiator and engine. Or u can get any FMIC and get a shop to do the pipes custom to meet with ur stock pipes like the blitz LM, that might be the cheaper otion.

Yeah GTR is bigger i think but also they look different. The ones u have are gtst one im pretty sure.

Yeah the front calipers can be a bitch, the owner before my current r33 shaved a bit off the front calipers to fit the wheels on . i didnt like the idea of that but whats done is done. In real life they would look heaps better i bet. They are by no means ugly man they definently make the car look better!

Hey man, yeah i htought maybe rich and retard? but even on stock boost :S I have a SAFC NEO comming but now think i should have spent the extra on a PFC> I have a mate who offered to let me try his PFC to see if that sorts anyhting out, ill let u know how i go in a day or two after we have tried it. The hesitation in mine is really sever, overtaking commodores is impposibble and imbarassing.

Hey mate, thats heaps better than stock , will handle better too! But i also have to say im not a fan of the wheels. Each ot ther own man, they dont look ugle but if ur buying and choosing they arent something id go for. Clean looking skyline by the way!

Lmao well before i go out and buy a box of matches hahah Im pretty sure my cas is intact but i will re check the locator. I will also get my timming checked again to make sure its a 15 base. The car really runs slow to the point its hard to accelerate wiht traffic, over taking faster than an excell is way too optimistic. i dont want to spend the money buying a cas and finding out that didnt fix it. Does any one have one i can try? If the locator is fine and nothing seems broken , then coud the sensor still be failty? Thanks guys
