  2. It wont really giv eu more performance unless u have problems with ur stock rubber pipe gettgin sucked shut. What it will defienently do is make it sound better! apparently it will make a spool sound like it s a 747 on take off hahha
  3. hey mate, i have done it on a N/a 4cyl , i wouldnt recommend it for a n/a car and i wouldnt do it on my r33. i doubt there is much performance ot be had with a street r33 any ways ?? is there?? it would be very minimal if u had a dump full zorst and a high flow cat alrady.

I doubt how the boost control caould affect this, given the effects of connecting the intake pressure pipe directly to the wasste gate actuator then also testing it with out the pipe connected should give u an idea of waste case scenairo of if ur boost controller was blocked or leaking too much air. this leaves me to guess its not the boost controler but the actual waste gate actualor or waste gate flap?? does that make sence?
  5. Hi guys, I have just purchased my second r33 turbo. The fisrt one had every problem you could think of so i am acustomed to the world of skyline with problems. I have this stragne problem. my r33 has a dual stage turboXS boost control with swithc in cabin, podfilter, zorst and forged aftermarket pistons, GFB dual BOV . When i florr it on low boost 7psi it revs out first strong then hit secodn and it dies in the sarse, the car has no pick up and o nthe boost guage it does not seem to be baking boost. Now the same thing in high boost and it goes hard as it should. I took apart the first stage of the boost contorler and their is no problem with that, the bov is calibrated fine. I am guessin git has something to do with the turbo? maybe a sticky waste gate flapp? any ideas guys?

  7. Hey guys, Any one know where i can get a metal turbo intake pipe from or any one who can make one for me? I used to have the problem of it getting sucked closed but now the filter is secured better. I still rather a metal item tho. if any one can make one i would be interested in purchacing one. Cheers

If u can hear it pinging will sound like a box of matches ratling in the background very faint, then sever knocking is basically that, like a cylinder went knock on the side, well thats my interpretation. I drove around for 2 days wihtthe pining box of matches sound and it was real quiet so i thought it wasnt to big a deal to be urgent and then i busted a piston. ended up buying a new engine. Get it checked if your in doubt by a good workshop.
  9. swap for r33 stock turbo in good condition, plust adjustment. What did u have this turbo on? i see its a garret but it is not a truck turbo is it? with the split pulse design i have to ask.
  10. I have a cCF bonnet on my r33 and its heaps lighter than the stock one. Like GTRgoeffe said wank factor and dangerous foro pedestrians. i personally love my CF bonnet and yes it does flap a bit and i have tried all sorts of things to minimize it but it flapps a little, nothing major.

  12. i got a reciept for the forgies, cost aroudn $900 from memory. i looked a the web site and then are definently better than stock piston obviously.
  13. I just bought a r33 with acl forged pistons in std size, im hunting fo rinfo about them too
