Just do a search for hybric intercooler install. there is a .pdf file that gives u the step by step instructions. Very detailed and useful, ur kit uses the same mounting and piping route as the hybrid. I used this guide with out any problems.

Hi mat eog to revolution race gear at marooka, speak to brendan, tell him lloyd recommended you to go there. Brendan my best mate he is very knowledgable with exactly what u need for all the different classifications of racing. u can call them on 3392 6100 but i recomend going there in person. they have a good range of harnesses in stock. Oh and he can also tell u for sure if u need a harness, cage, tailshaft loop etc.

the jar of ball bearings i would guess is pingin gor detonating. Thats very bad. Id consider lowering the boost and make sure u run high octane petrol. If that doesnt minise it try taking timing out. Realyl ur best option is to go to a reputable skyline tuner and have it cheacked.

Hi guys, i have a s1 r33 jsut got dynoed last week with 202rwk. mods are walbro pump, FMIC 10psi pod, dump back exaust. Now when i bought hte car i was driving it home down the toowoomba range in 3rd gear using engine braking. Iwas doing about 40-50klmhr whne i hav eit a little about 1/4 throttle and its dumped a big could of whitish smoke out the back for about 8 meters. Having just bought hte car 5 mins earlier i was stressing, at the bototm of hte range i stopped at a servo and checked the oit levels, i had to top up about 400ml of oil. the car apparent had a rebuilt engine wiht foged pistons about 3 months before i purchased it. On the 2 hour drive back to brissy i could not get the car to dump white smoke again. Now fast forward 3 weeks later a mechanic "friend" of mine hooked up a catch can wrong sealing in crank case pressure. 20 mins after driving it on the highway i gave it 1/4 pedal to over take and it dumped white smoke again. I proceed hom top up the oit as it is down, notice the can is connected wrong. I fix the can plumping so now its a plump back can as it shoudl be. Fast forward 3 months. I have no oil in the catch can. I have had it checked by 2 other mechanic and they cay the can is connected correctly. I have slight oil smear in my cooler pipes i am guessing given the recent events i may have dodgy turbo seals?? I have noticed today in traffic at idle the car is fine but when i go to take of in first it gives a quick little cloud of what looks to be whitish smoke? it doenst do it thru the rest of hte rev rnage or at idle just a few times when i took of from the lights? Any ideas what coudl be causing this smoke out the exhaust guys? i am hokping just turbo oil seal?? By the way the Catch can still has no oil in it so i dont think blow by is a issue for me at all. ?? thanks in advance.

Im with you mine waws faily straight forward, the passenger side factory hoe had to be enlarged and a hole cut in the driver side but it was or a non event. If i did it again i would but a kit that used the stock pipes in the engine bay. I dont like hte idea of the cooler pipe in between the radiator and engine where it gets very hot.

My r33 was rebuilt with ACL forged pistons. I cant complain yet as they havent given me any grief. They are a good price from what i understant bu ti think you can maybe get CP or arial pistons for not much more. But hten i dont know if those piston are really any better????

Lol the first post i knew u had a Map sensor but then foget :S , yeah checking airflow sensor for u is usless. Has ot be some sort of CAS issue. What are all the things u had to take or or play wiht to install ur clear cover besides ur CAS?

Possible the fuel sender. I had a very similar problem with mine. Basically there is a thing that sits in ur tank that reads the fuel level, mine had become un hooked from its attachment and was giving really dud readings. If u arent too confident about opening up ur fuel tank take it to a work shop and get them to chekc it. It should only cost you labour as it just hooks back on. I did have the problem of it constantly unhooking it self under high G loads drifting. There may be a way of securing it better if ur brackets that it hooks into are a bit loose. I bet its that.

If ur CAS is not dying and ur timming is correct, id take a stap and say the airflow sensor is stil ok but not reading correct voltages - prob dying. ???? Take it to a reputable workshop who works on a lot of skylines.

Id be guessing CAS as thats really all u could have touched? is the base timing still corect? You may need to test the CAS. Unless somethig else went bung and it was just a coincidence.

Coils could be likley, does it misfire? u probly cant hear the misfire with stock muffler. Yeah air fuel seems rich? correct me if im wrong too?

Got it done at FIST performance at wacol. Onyl work shop open after new years who would take my car with such late notice- i was not expecting the excellent service they gave me. He basically just fixed my problems, u cant tune much with a stock ecu except base timming and make sure its all running ok.

He got such a increase beacue the car was running so fcked and had to fix the stuffed things. For some reason timming is in an advanced position bacuse the car wouldnt do much wiht stock base timing, the air fuel ratio is still way rich. the power figures where at the wheels and as far as i can see its a stock turbo. Unless its had some sort of highflow job done to it?? I hear of other people wiht good nick r33 with similar mods cracking the 200rwkw mark??? Im running 10psi boost
