Hey Guys.. Recetly i just got my LSD including the case etc, and am still looking at buying a few more things before i leave later next year.. Just wondering, for people like rezz or other memebrs that have contacts/previous experience with Japan, how did you get your stuff home? Please don't say the post, as i doubt a 46Kg Piece of LSD is gunna make it through the post.. and surely there must be a more affordable way to send a Cubic Metre of stuff.. Could you guys give me some ideas? Thanks

Hey guys! Well i've been here 6 months, and i've finally sorted myself out. I have a steady job, great place and things are going well. It's time i began something i wanted to do since leaving Australia, and that is, Buying Parts!!! Of course this is all well and good, but of course with all great plans, theres always a catch. Im thinking of buying some quite "bulky" or "non post friendly" items. Things that im talking about are turbo kits, carbon bonnets, and other mechanichal and body parts (read: Heavy/Big). I'm wondering if anyone knows a) how to get a container to Australia from Japan, the costs involved etc. or B) if anyone is already shipping containers to brisbane from tokyo. As yet it, its still a long way away, (i still have atleast 12 months on my visa), but i don't want to buy things and then before i leave find i have to leave them all behind. Any ideas guys? PS. Would anyone from in and around tokyo be up for a meet sometime in the future? Maybe a few beers or something? That is all Thanks! Peter

DCD - Definitely a small world!! Yeah it was definitely smiles all round after that little trip. I was up there actually with an old student of mine, with another gaijin mate. It was just for fun, but yeah it was great!
