  1. so true! can't beat em for tough and simple looking rims that totally work on a skyline shape. I love the shadow chrome on the silver car, perfect match for me, if I had any other colour car I would go the full chrome like the one above (HAWT). I was expecting to have to fork out over 2k minimum in a few more months to get wheels with the dish / colour / offset / style I wanted until I saw these for sale on here. Bit heavy though, but you get that with cheaper rims. Wink the white 33 (danr33's) is faaaarkin low, and he just whacked on those Drift R 19"s... the quad exhaust is pretty cool, makes a nice sound too.
  2. can these pics be resurected I want to see them before i take a shot at this
  3. wanna see this too, wheres the picS!
  4. and some of Dans, Mohammeds and my line' sunbaking... :0)
  5. picked em up today, and after a bit of fussing round with getting correct wheel nuts (and lock nuts) we finally got them all setup. Here's a few pics after fitting:
  6. I've dropped a deposit on these. Nice one Dan, thanks for the wheels Can't wait to get these on and go for a roll yeehaaaaaaaaaaaa!
  7. Hi guys, I currently have an R33 series 2 on stock suspension with stock rims. I am soon to purchase some 18x8 and 18x9 rims to go on the car and I would like to lower the stance of the car also to improve upon the currently 4wd height and handling. I drive this car over all sorts of roads everyday, and I am not remotely interested in drift or trackwork etc as its purely a good looking and fast'ish daily that is comfortable on most syd roads. What suspension components would you fellas recommend given that I want to: keep as close to possible as standard ride comfort lower the car to something sensible above the wheels while remaining at a legal height (height suggestions anyone?) improve the handling a bit (I find a lot of softness under hard cornering with the stock gear). not spend a bucket load setting it up, I have to do this somewhat el cheapo Will also be looking for a good Syd workshop to put it all in. live on north shore (chats - hornsby areas) Thanks guys Luke ps I have left a msg for Sydneykid in case anyone says to msg him, but I thought I'd also get your opinions as there have to be plenty of you who have gone from stock suspension to a simple street setup.

Luke (in syd).
  9. turbosmart dual stage controller or similar with in cabin switch between boost levels. want an item that holds boost properly and doesn't require a rocket scientist to setup. will pay up to $150cash for right item. PM me ok cheers Luke
  10. why don't you post pics in the thread?
  11. how does that work? can you explain, can't quite imagine how it works - I can't see how the gears engage without the clutch... cheers
  12. schmiko! can't believe you won with stock rims, I guess its a testiment to how good the bodywork is then if they can overlook wheels in the process considering how many show cars have crazy expensive rims on them while in shows. have you considered trying to get sponsorship from a wheel shop or something?
  13. did you win the car show award with stock wheels?
  14. it doesn't look as clean as a simple pinstripe - like the nismo ones that a lot of peeps on here are looking for in the general section at the moment - these look a lot nicer that the tribal style you have there.
  15. the lighting is a bit odd on them, but they are shadow chrome, I thought that might look nice against the silver paintwork...
  16. lol~! nismo I dig those rims - pretty hawt. MORE PICS OF SILVER CARS WITH GOLD RIMS!!
  17. I fitted mine to my R33 a few days ago, pretty decent looking, but it is not a straight fit to an r33. I had to chop off some bits to get it to sit low enough due to the bottom bit on the left (if standing in front of engine looking in) was hitting the stock cooler piping. not much but hey. also one of the bolts on the lid was broken off on mine so the plexiglass or whatever it is has become loose at one corner. It does leave a fairly decent hole under the pod where engine heated air can still get in, I think for max cooling it would need this hole sectioned off too - I might make a quick template and cut one out, looks like i could bolt it to the current screwshafts on the cai. anyone else done this?
  18. i need a drivers side indicator cluster, the bit that sits under the main headlights in the lower part of the s2 front bar (can't think of what they are called). if your ok with separating - how much for just that bit.
