    Wasted Spark Help

    the firing order is 1 5 3 6 2 4

    So you need to double up these outputs coming out of the ecu

    1 -6

    5-2

    3-4

    Together going into the ignitor.

    Then out of the ignitor you connect the 3 channels to the wasted spark coils. do not connect any other wires to these.

    In this setup you are better off buying a good 3 channel ignitor to replace the standard nissan one (alot less confusing)

    Also bare in mind that commondore v6 coils need a massive dwell to charge up, if you are running a aftermarket ecu this is OK but it will not work with a standard ecu.

    The mines ECU's are custom programmed by Mines for their individual customer cars in Japan for the high octane fuel in japan.

    The cars get exported to foreign country and gets sold to some guy who thinks its going to work in his / her car.

    Usual results is knock sensors going off its head and ecu running in knock map, or a engine melt down, or will not run at all, rarely you will find one that was tuned for a stock car that may work well.

    Think of it this way, your mate gets his Apexi power fc tuned in his car for 300kw, you buy ecu from him put it in your car, do you expect you will have 300kw too? I hope not.

    They should not be used imo.

    hey guys, I have ordered one of these pumps for my rb30det here in the UAE, ive just pulled the engine down and checked it and all is good, the old n1 pump was working fine but its time to move onto something stronger.

    will keep SAU updated on how it goes!

    OK, been chasing a RB30 twin cam belt while abroad, and had a bad time, i worked out that Audi / VW do have the 153 tooth belt for the 1.8t engine as stated early in this thread but there was no part number!

    so the part number is...

    058109119c
    Dayco 94407 belt from Audi / VW. should get it tomorrow.

    Hey mate... i have tuned literally a thousand TB48de patrols, ones NA with 200hp and ones full turbo with over 1000hp.... the most powerfull one i tuned was about 1233hp or something....

    I do not know anyone in Melb who can do them, but they are just a RB25 on steroids, they even have the same RB25 skyline VCT cam system on them... so anyone with half an idea will be able to wire one and tune it.
