  1. Naah with the Z32 you need to do some 'internal modifications'. Pin swaps and the like...
  2. @Scott: If I get a Z32 ECU, are you able to do the mods to make it work on a 25?
  3. ahh f*ck. Well if you get your 4 sorted by then, I'm in.
  4. Well that's like $50 off, which is not bad, but not good enough for me to wait around till the end of January. I'd rather pay the extra $50 and get my car back on the road sooner... So if you can sort out your four so we can send them off next week them I'm in, otherwise I'm out. Thanks Dude @Colin: What was the name of that tuning place you were telling me about?
  5. @Colin: Contact this guy: http://motamota.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=132962.msg1525770#msg1525770 Also @ Colin: I put fuel in the Pergeot, it took almost 55L and wasn't even empty yet. So yeah, it just has an epic big tank for a small car. Also @ Colin: Are your rims 4/5 stud or just 4 stud? I may actually be interested if they are 4/5...
  6. Just about any performance shop should be able to make up something for you. I don't think you'll be able to use a silicone joiner as the stock intake pipe is plastic. If you use a pod you MAY be able to clamp the stock intake onto a short bit of ally the right size then use a silicone joiner to bring it up to 4". But that will be a big restriction in the inlet...

  8. Yeah keen. The sooner the better though. Mines a 34 turbo (OP6) and I'd want the $800 + GST + line jobby. Don't need actuator got a HKS one.
  9. That's what she said. In other news, Thristian doesn't love me any more
  10. Thanks Jezza, but that would be a DOWNgrade. Not going to happen.
  11. Yeah chipped S1 33 ECU Yeah mine is essentially a 33 S1 engine loom, just minor fiddling to get it to mate up to the 31 main loom. Nothing that would affect the ECU. I could find an R32 ecu (looks at ute)... but doesn't that lose the VCT or something? Hmmmm...... So in short what you are saying is: it will be a bit laggy? I would rather have better response than a few moar killa wasps, so I might stick with the high flow option. A properly good tome, that was.
  12. You can keep your spark plugs So you just wire that harness into the car's loom then off to the tuner? Is there wiring info on the cd? I shall consult with my official mechanic when he gets back from the sticks and let you know.
  13. Keen. Got harness and everything needed for it? How much you want for it?
  14. would this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/348212-for-sale-apexi-afc-neo/page__p__5600204#entry5600204 + injectors let me run a bigger turbo?
  15. Surely as the AFM would keep measuring the mass of air though, so as long as you kept the mass of air within the stock ecu's tuned range it would be OK? My ecu has been chipped for more boost than std. My turbo is already a 34 turbo, the other upgrade option would be a high flow. Can I get away with the stock ECU for a while with a high flow? Group buy on high flow turbos? Sounds kind of like the noise mine is making, but mine doesn't lose power. Turbo still holds boost just sounds horrible while doing it. And it starts making the noise basically as soon as it comes on boost. Yeah 25 in my 31, with an R34 turbo. I check for ducks every time it rains, sneaky little buggers have a habit of getting in there. I blame skins. Should basically be a straight fit. You might need to add a fitting somewhere for a vac line if there isn't one on your intake piping, from memory the 33s have it on the turbo and the 34s have it on the piping. I got a fitting welded on the turbo elbow for mine. That's what she said.
  16. Could I run it with my current computer and fuel setup, just lowish boost (Maybe 10-12psi) until I get around to doing the ECU and injectors? Anything internally gated just 'lying around'?
  17. Anyone? My knowledge of different turbos is limited to "Ooohhh... pretty..."
  18. Sorry to hear Col, seems it has not been a happy holiday for a couple of people About to go to jaycar to get shit to fix my dodgy speedo
  19. Also: Just discovered I won lotto, yay Div 5, $26 . Spent $21.70 on the ticket + $8.80 in the work syndicate. You do the maths :(
