That's what she said Evening, squire! Sounds like an awesome weekend. I spend saturday turning the alfa into a 300zx (engine out!), and generally piss farting around. Sunday was lakeside. Also much F1 all weekend, FTW. Mmmmmm nice little track rims they are. Back on advans now. A likely story... I like it.

Survived the day at Lakeside yesterday, oil squirters are overrated

Oh, so you have time to do bridge to brisbane, but no time to come and help Pirate faceparty is awesome Webber FTW Morning Mangs No one came out to lakeside yesterday? Soft Session 1 was good, I got at least a couple of good laps in, but the timing system f*cked up again (really starting to dislike the timing system at Lakeside) so no time. Session 2 I messed up my braking point into turn 1 on the first hot lap, and went into the gravel. I came in then to check everything was OK (it was) but didn't get any hot laps in. Time for the warm up lap: 93.12s Session 3 was great, got most laps in clear space. Best time was 65.28s, which is not as good as I hoped, but on reflection I was being a lot more careful than usual, especially through the bridge area... After that some nugget dropped oil ALL over the track, and although they gave us the option to keep running, I decided it wasn't worth the risk, and called it a day. Looks like 65.28 will be good enough for third in my class for the day. I only snapped a couple of pics in the pits: The RS-Rs are incredibly good tyres for the price too. Really happy with them. I think she looks good on the GTPs too, gratuitous bonus shot: Engine didn't go bang either, who needs oil squirters?
