I have no idea how common it is, but it is seems it is either caused by the piston being installed backwards, or the clearance between the piston and the squirter being incorrect, either one causes the piston to hit the squirter and break it.
Yeah, I looked up the part number in fast (NEO ones are different to all other 20/25 ) and a bit of googling found the following picture:

Unfortunately they are approx 75 bux a pop trade price, and have to come from japan, couldn't give me an ETA .
One of my mates has a 25 on a stand atm, so I'm going round this arvo to have a look and try and get an idea of how hard it will be to change in car. If it's too hard, I might just not bother
Sprints on Sunday, it won't be fixed by then, so it might blow up and save me having to worry about it . A 25 short motor can't be worth too much these days...
