  6. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA just went out to test out the Bee*R flatshifting mode. Got literally 10m from my driveway and saw a cop car in the driveway of the golf course so, quickly turned it off, did a lap of the block, and went back in to the garage. Sirens on, cop comes up for RBT. All good, blew 0. She was actually quite nice, had a bit of a chat. To be fair I would have looked really suspicious . Might stay out of trouble for the rest of the night...

  10. nice one, as if 2 threads wasnt enough already <3
  11. Oh come on. Torque is proportional to Power/RPM. So if you are going to use the rotors' 3000 revs as your RPM instead of the e-shaft's 9000 revs, the torque figure is going to be 3x bigger. That is a pretty basic concept for someone who is apparently deciding how CAMS compares engines to not comprehend. Actually it seems pretty good to me. the theoretical 4 stroke equivalent would be 2.6L, (ie 2 times 1.3L or 0.66 times 3.9L) but the 1.8 times accounts for the inherit inefficiency of the rotory. I also notice that you have once again ignored all my valid arguments why you should please STOP CALLING IT A 2 STROKE. That's OK, you are clearly not going to change your mind on that front, hopefully others have read them and will not blindy follow you down the close minded "its a 3.9L and a 2 stroke so we must double the capacity" path. It's SIMILAR to a 2 stroke yes, but not in the way that means you double its (3.9L) capacity
  12. yeah the circuit i have done for flatshifting should also let me use it for lauch control only problem is the revs it will be set to for flatshifting (4500 or 5000 at a guess) will probably be a little high for a good launch...
  13. yeah they are generally really bad foul plugs, kill turbos, kill cats, kill engines, etc But i hardly ever go anywhere near limiter except at the track, even then i don't hit it often. Flatshifting will be where it gets a real workout, but hopefull since that will be lower RPM it will not be quite so damaging.
  14. i had a pretty boring one, but I was overdue for a quiet weekend anyway gave me time to install Bee*R
