^^ yup what evan said.. Soak the crap out of those buts in wd40.. wait for a good 10 mins and try it slowly so you dont snap them.. Ohh and do this when your car is cold.. For best results do it on a hoist with the right tools!! be patient and it will come off.

I have been using vortex 98 with no problems at all for nearly 1 year now. Never ever used any other fuel than vortex!! so doubt your car will affect it that much with using different 98 brand fuel. So must be something else than using different fuel.

^^ im guessin ones just your normal slotted ones.. The other ones have dimples in them (the little holes) plus the slots.. So greater effect of removing dirt and cooling etc etc..

hahah well its an old pic of my room. Many changes have been made since that pic was taken.. But yes all the gear is hooked up to my pc.. So i can listen and watch and hear it all thru my setup. So basically the denon amp controls everything.. (7.1 channel amp after all) Its got radio also with RDS feature. So basically it displays the name of the song that radio station is playing at the time.. It truely is a great package!! My sayin is " Spend a bit extra and get quailty at first, and not second"

For stock rims i found 32 front, 30 rears (300zx rims) the best But then again i didnt drive around with much thread.. maybe 2mm max on rears.. Plus my tyres were old. Anyways i have pumped the fronts to 38 once and it seemed fine. I do a lot of freeways also, but cant tell the difference on highways tho lol Got 235s on fronts now with 30psi pressure.. Seems fine

This is very true.. The a/c pipe does tend to get very very very hot!! If you have a spilt front/dump pipe and the wastage pipe is actually touching the a/c pipe this can be a disaster in the summer days.. So yes do wrap the pipe up.. Better to be safe than sorry.. This is also the case in the r33s s2s.. It can actually burn all the sound deadending stuff under the car.. So i suggest we all wrap these pipes up to be safe.

You will only gain if you get your car tunned properly!! ^^ observation from friends cars being tunned properly with pfc and other supporting mods.

It only be useful if you know you are speeding and going past a camera. Otherwise whats the point of having it? The number of times you speed etc etc, you wont have enough time to quickly press a button and make the number plate go up b efore the flash goes off. Also half the time you wont even know there is a camera. most of the people get done un-expected!! but none-the less a fancy thing to have.

But at times i think my stock ecu is running to rich in 2nd gear as it feels restrictive at times. 3-5th are very smooth and feels like constant boost right thru rev range. 2nd gear still pulls hard, but i feel like a lag at times. COuld be just ecu not up to it now. But anyways best option for me is just to turn the boost down till i get a fmic atleast..

Well i just had my car on the dyno dynamics dyno last night. full exhaust (spilt dump/front pipe as well as spilt catback), pod, boost at 0.8 bar on shoot out mode and acheived 183kw. Now many people i have spoken to say thats not possible and its just a happy dyno, then i guess maybe, maybe not. But like you said to get correct figure hit the track and get a proper readout of times.. So now my question is, in shoot out mode, does it tend to be happy with figures? Other cars last night didnt have happy dyno figures. (silvansw event at unigroup) your thoughts?

Hey guys, thought i ask in here b4 i make a topic. Atm i got full exhaust (spilt dump/front pipe), apexi pod n sheild and boost set at 0.75 bar. Stock 33 cooler I get boost spike up to 0.8 bar, which seems ok i guess (10psi) but today for some strange reason for the first time it boost spiked a tad over 0.9 bar. Car didnt feel any different, but now my concern is if this is healthy. Will turn boost down tomorrow and see if it still does it. I checked all vac lines this arvo and seemed fine. Afr: tad over 12 at 400rpm, then right down to 11 or so rest of rev range. Guess my car is running rich. Your thoughts?? turn boost down straight away?
