I Am Selling My Jzx100 Series 2
siddr20 replied to 042goxyr33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
pics to [email protected] Or can you post it here so everyone can have a look. Also keen for a swap? I got A r33 series 2 with 200kw, very tasteful mods and in perfect condition etc.. ahh realised you in WA.. that will be hard!! -
uh? so you have a r32 with rb25 motor? You got correct ecu in there? If so which one? For better fuel economy change 02 sensors, put the correct heat range plugs, and clean your afm. But if you saying that you only get 40kms out of 25bucks, then you got a serious problem. You sure theres no leak in the fuel tank? Coz 25bucks worth of fuel and you get 40kms is BADDDDDDDDDDDD OR could it be that your dash speedo thingy is broken?

I found that installing adjustable solid tie rod ends gave me better steering responce (that is tighter and more lock at full lock) As well as adjustable solid castor rods. Have had the ones from justjap for about 2 years with two track days and never had a problem. Those sway bars will make a big difference!!

Caster Rods.. Are They Anything To Do With...
siddr20 replied to subie's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Wow i dont see how changing castor rods would affect HICAS. I have put adjustable ones and havnt had any problems. Could just be a coincidence. Anything else you have changed recently? -

siddr20 replied to PT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain

i dont know technical details either, but i can assure you a cheapish headunit is a lot different in terms of quality against a good head-unit. By that i mean, the sound quality is noticable between the two. Post the headunit you are wanting to purchase? In terms of which splits is best suited to the music you like - BEST answer is for you to go in and ear it yourself. Only your ears will give you the correct answer. However i recommened Hertz HSK 165 spilts. Only about 320 bucks!! A lot of bass from these spilts and quality is just incredible!! In terms of technical stuff, i suggest you ask these questions on car audio australia forum. http://www.caraudioaustralia.com/forums/

Terrible Fuel Economy, All Usual Suspects Checked
siddr20 replied to stolen_s15's topic in General Maintenance
What heat range plugs you using. Could make a difference. I found that heat range 7 was running more richer for somereason. Put in heat range 6 and replaced my 02 sensor and my fuel milage is a lot better. -
VKMA92504S Timing belt kit - $449.00 Thats a bit high isnt it? Im sure timing belts arent that much? Check kudosmotor sports (trader sections) - he sells 100k service kits for nissan. Pick that up and supply your parts to your mechanic. YES do waterpump!! Have a look at the trader section and get that kit he sells. WORTH IT!!

Hectic sounds good bored33.. Keep us posted If you can crack the 200 mark then hats off. It will be pretty easy, as long as you get your boost sorted out correctly. Perhaps i should increase mine a little to crack the 200mark.. Anyways didnt know batbml was still selling exhaust systems.. Havnt seen him on the forums for a while..
-
probably best if you get it tuned on the day with him.. rather than sending in your ecu proably takes longer to get it perfect i reckon

Bump coz its my birthday today!! Anyone? -
^ have to say unigroup does hectic tunning!! Have seen great results from all my friends car
-
Ahh yavuz helped out as well did he?? Yea hes an excellent bloke.. i have been to him a few times. yea toshi was saying his maps are a little different depending on what series 33 you have. Which i thought was a little strange since its the same engine (with little difference) As long as you got it all sorted out. What was your ignition timing from toshis gun? Think he needs a new one lol
-
NOOO proper lap timers. So one bit was attached to my side mirror. Each time i went past the timer on the side (pit area), it would record the time.. You know what im talking about right? infra red.. cost over 600 bucks apparently edit: Yea peter i think you need to adjust your boost controller properly. Is a electronic one? or manual?
-
hahahh same here.. Well mine is at 10psi anyways So i reckon at 12psi, it would have easily made 200kw.
-
Couldnt agree more with you there. Upgrade your suspension bits, rubbers and rims plus other little suspension mods and you will be easily cracking 1.10s at wakefield. I got stock suspension (lowered springs), with caster rods.. thicker rear sway bar.. stock rims with street rubbers and my car acheived 1.13 at wakefield. Which i think its pretty damn quick for 196kw.
-
Impressive results peter Yea toshi was telling me that your car was pinging hard!! But 198kw you just cant complain!! How long did the dyno tune take btw?? I have only done the road tune Exactly and for 400 bucks i honestly think its the best thing i have done to my car lol..
-
post it in the right section and you might get more hits.
-
Gets it from japan. There was a huge difference in power after the remap was done.. So its not like its some crap tuning or something Car is so much smoother to drive, with no more flat spots either. Check ou my thread for more details if you wish. ta

I run NGK BCPR6ES in RB25's gaped at 0.8 mm NGK BCPR6ES come in 1.1 mm gap (BCPR6ES – 11) and in 0.8 mm gap (BCPR6ES – 8) Standard boost = BCPR6ES – 11 12 psi = BCPR6ES – 8 Up to 19 psi = BCPR7ES – 8 Over 19 psi = BCPR7ES – 6 ^ Hope this helps
-
^ No Dont bother plugging in different ecus to your car. You can remap stock R33 ecus. They have been doing this for the past 5 years or more. I recently got my stock 33 ecu remapped (about 3 weeks ago) and got great results. 196kw@10psi and a lot of midrange to top end power. Stock turbo, stock injectors etc. Mods- full exhaust and pod filter with bigger fuel pump. Cost - $400 bucks. Problems - none!! car is very smooth to drive and i have even done a track day with the new remap!! You can check out my thread here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/To...st-t211348.html
